Awesome play. 0-2 pitch to the 9 hitter though. Rabbit foot up gibby’s behind

Don’t be crude.

I continue to eat crow regarding Marwin in RF. He played very little in right before coming to the Twins, and I didn't like what I saw early on, but he's applied himself and is making some plays to enjoy.

Durrrrr... never mind

That's why pitchers can punch anyone out are the most important in the modern era. If Gibby can punch 3 outs, one single and a wild pitch can't score.

You're on to something here.

We should just sign pitchers who strike out 27 hitters per game. Every game.

His defense has had 3 miscues in 3 innings, about time they helped him out.

Not only that, but also gave a lesson to Buxton on how to use the wall.

I’d put a smiley face on that, but not sure I’m being completely facetious...

It’s happened 7 times in the not fully 6 games since the ASB ENDED

Oops, i thought the question was how many times the opponent scored immediately after the twins did. That changes things

Maybe. My guess is that Baldelli called go on contact. The idea is that a so-so grounder can score a run. However, this is an example of how that can bite you in the butt.

Even on a contact play, you're taught to make sure a line drive gets through. Go on any contact on the ground.

If the ball is in the air, your first step has to be back toward third.

i don’t know. I would guess a finite number of times? A number which can be discovered by poring through the game logs?

It's somewhere between 1 and 1,000,000.

I'm always right.

If that was the case, I didn't like that call in that situation with only one out in a one run game.

If that's the case then you aren't going on contact.

I just realized my posts keep landing above the mid-thread ads. For awhile there I thought I drank too much and changed my signature to promote Ethan Allen for some reason.

You are either considering painting or planning a trip to Vermont.

Actually you could do both by painting Vermont.

If Sidd Finch were alive he'd be rolling in his grave.

Remember back in the good old days, when we properly described the Twins offense as "relentless"?

Now I'd be more inclined to call it "reluctant."

Could be worse. I'm still getting ads for those ridiculous Fluevog shoes, or whatever they are.

You are either considering buying shoes or planning a trip to British Columbia.

If it's the latter... you'll need shoes.

It started not long after they manufactured a nickname for themselves. You can’t do that. Ask costanza
