Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 pfftNot a particularly dry heat. Although I did just turn the ac temp up. I was getting cold in here.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 God that was right in the faceI concur but I didn't feel right clicking like.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 You're on to something here. We should just sign pitchers who strike out 27 hitters per game. Every game. I sent this very idea to Lavine. I got no response.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Not a particularly dry heat. Although I did just turn the ac temp up. I was getting cold in here.Where I work in the summer months, the space I'm in ... the AC doesn't work well ... the thermostat showed it to be 58 deg in there. Now, that is worthy of a call to OSHA.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 HE'S NOT???1?Now that you ask, I'm having trouble locating his obituary. Maybe just as with his baseball exploits, rumors of his demise have been exaggerated.

Tom Froemming Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Here's a breakdown of Oakland's reliever pitch counts the past three days: WED: Petit 17, Soria 24, Treinen 15TUE: Trivino 11, Treinen 17MON: OFF So both pens are very fresh. Here's a link to the Twins bullpen spreadsheet, if you're interested.

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Remember back in the good old days, when we properly described the Twins offense as "relentless"? Now I'd be more inclined to call it "reluctant."Nah, they're just relaxing. They'll regain relevance. Rely on it.

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 My god “foul tip” does not do it justice. Hope he’s ok.It took a few seconds, but then the loopiness was palpable. You could almost see the little birdies and stars circling his cranium.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Oof-da. I haven’t seen every single pitch but I’ve counted at least 3-4 that our guys would have hit to bemidji a few months ago
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Do you work in a cave or underground my goodnessWe've complained ... but it's something about their system ... imagine going to work where the heat index is supposed to reach 113, dressed in long pants and a sweatshirt.

Or did his arm get DFAed?
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 It started not long after they manufactured a nickname for themselves. You can’t do that. Ask costanzaDo we call our guys Koko? That could be awkward.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Great play by Arraez!!!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Yeah, but it's a DRY heat index of 113. Index? Necessary for people who can't locate the weather in a book?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Really nice play by Arraez there. If that was a typical glove-to-throw transfer, he will hopefully cut a fraction of a split second off of it.
