Trade Gibson at the deadline! :)

Last year's deadline was the time to do it, but according to many here, the Twins needed Gibson so that we could compete in 2019.

 

I was also against a Gibson trade... it's hard for us to trade guys away when their stock is high. If only they would have moved Gibson but kept Pressly...

Why does anyone throw Buxton a FB? They set up 9 inches outside on that one.

Well... he hasn't swung like that most this season. If he doesn't clean things up, teams will be done throwing him fastballs.

I think he struck out on an outside fastball in his first AB.

 

Teams are definitely pitching him away since he started pulling all those doubles. Appears to have been a good strategy so far. Bux yet again will be faced with making an adjustment after a half-season hot streak.

I know things look bleak right now, but if the Twins can win even one game in this series, they'll still be in the driver's seat.  The Indians are not going to stay this hot forever and the Twins will turn things around at some point.  Keep the faith.

Adrianza gives us an unproductive out, Buxton looked like old Buxton that last at bat, and our leadoff guy can't put the bat on the ball. I'm beginning to think the first half of this season was an anomaly

This is happening. The momentum behind the Indians is palpable. We’re actually going to blow a 11.5 game lead....in less than a month.

Why? This offense can't score any runs. Pitching staff suck. Rocco continues to start Buck.
