snotboogie Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Can we talk about how the Perkins guy can order a burger and a slice of pie at 10am and have the waitress bring the pie first, but not specify either the type of burger or pie he wants? Like just bring whatever burger and pie you think will best help me land wife number 3.Well, he is The Most Interesting Man in the World. But he's eating at Perkins now, so maybe he's not so interesting.

Like just bring whatever burger and pie you think will best help me land wife number 3.My wife's brothers always eat dessert first. And they don't care what sort of dessert it is other than being plenty. I've seen each of them eat a whole row of Green Death, then follow that up with a couple 1/3 lb hamburgers. I've seen cows pass out from fear when they see my brothers-in-law drive by. Reminds me of the two bulls standing out in the pasture during a January blizzard. One turns to the other and says, "Brr, it's cold out here! I think I'll go back to the barn and slip into a jersey."

snotboogie Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Dang, I need to get to bed, but with the Clairol girl pitching, I just can't tear myself away.

David HK Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 My gosh, Tortuga snatched that one right out of the dirt-- He's not doing well BA-wise, but could there be a better guy when you need contact on a hit-n-run play?

David HK Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 I see Wooderson's back in there again. That sweet van of his must be parked just outside the Puckett gate.

Blake Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Excellent win, considering how many front line players either weren't available or were not in the starting lineup.

Are we supposed to prescribe penance? Post pics if ya make it to tomorrow's game, or at least tell a good tale of your experience. And... well it was brought to my attention the Twins have won 51 times before, so that was just for one of the earlier ones. No worries.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Why don’t people hate Schoop as much as they hate Sano?I swear, that guy has K’d in every AB with RISP this year.I still have hope for Sano. Other than hitting a few solo homer, Schoop has not done much at the plate esp when RISP. I am not interested in seeing Schoop in Twins uniform next season. I would like to see Twins trade Schoop for effective relievers.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 When a player who put together the PAs that Arraez did tonight is your 3rd or 4th option in the lead-off spot, things are going well.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Speakin' oh tales, i played softball today, batted twice and was responsible for 3 outs, as i ground into a double play. Was in right field against a pull happy line up of righties. Only one ball came to me, over my head, and i race back and got deep enough for it. Unfortunately i misjudged and turned the wrong way, and lacking Buxton recovery abilities, couldn't quite teleport myself 6 feet to my right... But i got it a few steps later, and held the batter to a triple. We were pounded, and i didn't care by how much, especially as the game ended early due to injuries.
