Can we talk about how the Perkins guy can order a burger and a slice of pie at 10am and have the waitress bring the pie first, but not specify either the type of burger or pie he wants? Like just bring whatever burger and pie you think will best help me land wife number 3.

My wife's brothers always eat dessert first. And they don't care what sort of dessert it is other than being plenty. I've seen each of them eat a whole row of Green Death, then follow that up with a couple 1/3 lb hamburgers. I've seen cows pass out from fear when they see my brothers-in-law drive by.

 

Reminds me of the two bulls standing out in the pasture during a January blizzard. One turns to the other and says, "Brr, it's cold out here! I think I'll go back to the barn and slip into a jersey."

Why don’t people hate Schoop as much as they hate Sano?

I swear, that guy has K’d in every AB with RISP this year.

I still have hope for Sano. Other than hitting a few solo homer, Schoop has not done much at the plate esp  when RISP. I am not interested in seeing Schoop in Twins uniform next season. I would like to see Twins trade Schoop for effective relievers.

Speakin' oh tales, i played softball today, batted twice and was responsible for 3 outs, as i ground into a double play.

 

Was in right field against a pull happy line up of righties. Only one ball came to me, over my head, and i race back and got deep enough for it. Unfortunately i misjudged and turned the wrong way, and lacking Buxton recovery abilities, couldn't quite teleport myself 6 feet to my right...

 

But i got it a few steps later, and held the batter to a triple.

 

We were pounded, and i didn't care by how much, especially as the game ended early due to injuries.
