Game Thread: Twins vs. Rays 5:10 PM PST (7:10 PM CDT) 6/25/2019

[Doomtints]

I honestly don't see how the Rays have a good record this year.

[70charger]

Crooked numbers are good.

[70charger]

Two strike hitting is good.

[David HK]

Astudillo made sure he protected the ball as he hit the ground, didn't he?

Heh... pulled it right into his shell!

[David HK]

Man, that was a nice inning!

Love to see this from our Twins!

(An homage to Bark, wherever he may be!)

They'll be amputating his foot later this week.

Buxton on one foot is still faster than half the league.

[bighat]

No more nibbling, Gibby.

We like Gibby, not the Gibbler.

[Blake]

come on, Mr. Gibson!

[Don Walcott]

Nice!! All around.

[David HK]

No more nibbling, Gibby.

We like Gibby, not the Gibbler.

Heh... "Mr. Gibbles"

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Wouldn't it be great to see 9 players with 20+ home runs in the Twins lineup in October?

Yes.

Each.

At a National league park...

Well perhaps that is a bit greedy.

come on, Mr. Gibson!

Hmm, which of us was responsible?

[70charger]

Buxton on one foot is still faster than half the league.

Bet I could drink more beer than him though

[Don Walcott]

Tortuga!! Have a day!!

[70charger]

2 hits in the 3 pitches? Come on man, that's one extra pitch!

[70charger]

"Sano has an infield hit" isn't a sentence you'll hear very often.

[bighat]

Attaboy Sano, those count too buddy. We'll take it.

[USAFChief]

Bet I could drink more beer than him though

Well you have all that experience standing on one foot telling the nice occifer you only had one or two.

[David HK]

Omg...

OK, I gotta calm the pulse and the blood pressure down.

Infield hits for Sano AND Astudillo?

In the SAME GAME?!?

Chill, Dave, chill.....

[Don Walcott]

Well you have all that experience standing on one foot telling the nice occifer you only had one or two.

Or, in my case three. But that was back in the day.

[LaBombo]

2 hits in the 3 pitches? Come on man, that's one extra pitch!

Sorry I'm late. How did he miss that other pitch? Bad hop before it got to the plate?

MadBum only has one so far. Not sure he'll get that many the rest of the year for us...

[bighat]

Okay Garver, just a sac fly will work. No need to get fancy.

[IndianaTwin]

Fancy enough.

[70charger]

Hitting with the bases loaded?

Are... are you allowed to do that!?

[bighat]

Or that!

Our 2019 Twins have returned!

[ashbury]

Overall, we're seeing some pretty bad throws from the Rays' corner outfielders.

[VATwinsFan]

Garver-mania!!!

[70charger]

Sorry I'm late. How did he miss that other pitch? Did it bounce more than once before it got to the plate?

He might have been trying to draw a walk. He almost made it, too!

[VATwinsFan]

Hitting with the bases loaded?

Are... are you allowed to do that!?

Occasionally.
