Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 If you caught a falling baby as you landed, cradling it and keeping it safe from harm, then your journey down the stairs was well played. Thankfully, falling babies are no longer in the equation. I'm just glad I didn't break a hip.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Okay, I have to ask. I've been confused all year. What is with the CROM?
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Okay, I have to ask. I've been confused all year. What is with the CROM? Ha ha. I've been wondering the same thing.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Why can't we all just get along? We have the best record in baseball, a win percentage above .600, Buxton is hitting, Polanco is batting above .330, our catchers hit like monsters, our starting pitching actually kicks ass, Rosario leads the league in homers, Justin Morneau is in the booth instead of Blyleven, it's not snowing anymore, Sano is on his way. I think the glass is more than half full. Yep.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Ha ha. I've been wondering the same thing.CJ Cron is most Cromulent?
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Talisker please.A little Oban is nice too.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Did Duffy just throw a 96mph fastball? I'm shocked! I like the angry pitching!
Blake Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I would have given odds that Stewart wasn't going to make it past the fourth tonight. Kudos to Mr. Stewart. Maybe all Mr. Stewart needs is some time with the Pitch Whisperer, Wes Johnson?
Blake Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Did Duffy just throw a 96mph fastball? I'm shocked! It's the "Wes Johnson" effect.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 CJ Cron is most Cromulent? You had to look that up!
wabene Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Duffy is slinging it as he should with this score

Maybe all Mr. Stewart needs is some time with the Pitch Whisperer, Wes Johnson? On a similar note, it looks like this game will finish in under 3 hours. Through the first two or three innings, I would not have bet on that.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 It's the "Wes Johnson" effect.I like Wes. A lot! Extend the Pitching Coach please.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 My family is giving me the business, telling me I've drank the koolaid on this team.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 You had to look that up!Good thing hiws name isn't Corp.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 We got Good Duffey tonight. I need to see this about 5 more times in a row before I start to believe. But it's promising.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Twins win!!!! Stewart pitched well, the bullpen was solid, and CJ Cron hit the cover off of the baseball. We have a chance to finish the week going 6-1 with a win tomorrow, and still have the best record in baseball. Oh, and Miguel Sano will be wearing a Twins uniform in a few days! Have a good, and safe, Saturday night everyone. See y'all tomorrow in Target Field!
Blake Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Duffy pitched like he was on a mission and with a chip on his shoulder. That was cool to watch.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 My family is giving me the business, telling me I've drank the koolaid on this team.I think this team is for real. I'm starting therapy Monday to understand the whole thing.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 You had to look that up!Actually, no. I'm not sure that is necessarily a good thing, either.

wabene Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Okay, I have to ask. I've been confused all year. What is with the CROM?Well I believe it was a funny reference by HBD. He is very literate
Blake Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Wow, Twins split today, yet are 5 games up on Cleveland.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Marnie just asked Cron if he was hoping to hit a triple for the cycle. Cron just laughed it off and said not really. We've seen him run before...He would have needed oxygen if he actually hit a triple.

MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Do we know our starter for tomorrow? Is Perez still going to be on paternity leave, and if so, who gets the call?
gil4 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 At least you spelled it right. He was close.
