My ribs and brisket are smoking and I'm lonely.* Somebody start a Game Thread.

 

*By "my" ribs and brisket, I'm meaning the ones I pulled out of the freezer. Not that I crawled into the smoker. I wouldn't fit.

 

Game started 10 minutes ago and the Twins are up 2-0. Lineups to come.

C'mon Gibby, get it together man. It's like a broken record with this guy. Odorizzi, Pineda, Berrios, even Perez have had at least a strong start or two. Gibby's the worst of the bunch so far, and that's not saying much.

Not a bad thought, but if we make the schedule less unbalanced to play them more, it would mean playing AL East and AL West teams more and AL Central teams (think KC, Whities, and Detroit) less. So I think we're good as is.

Gibson not inspiring confidence

 

The thing about New Gibson is that he doesn't inspire that much confidence even when he's relatively on his game. He sort of forces you to remind yourself that he's figured out how to get the most out of his less-than-OMG stuff.

 

That being said... Yeah, nearly 90 pitches with 1 out in the 4th is starting to look like Old Gibson.

Nah, I was just thinking of switching the Blue Jays out for the Orioles. We can keep the KC, CWS, Tigs games.
