Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Twins had some nice whacks in the bottom of the 6th, now Polanco draws a leadoff walk in the 7th
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 I hate the Twins uniforms.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Cruz mad at Bauer for pitching.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Cuzzi is having a rough couple innings. He missed two in a row there.Unfortunately not rough by his standards. More like typical.
bighat Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Big AB here for Rosario. Time to perform like the All-Star we all think he is.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 I love the fire from Cruz. I don't think that was intentional on two strikes, but play with fire!!
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 I love the fire from Cruz. I don't think that was intentional on two strikes, but play with fire!!Hitting him no. But that’s THREE times in the last two AB that Bauer has been head high inside.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 I love the fire from Cruz. I don't think that was intentional on two strikes, but play with fire!! I'm just going to go ahead and admit that I was hoping for a mound charge for a second there, but I'll settle for whatever version of "Catch me outside" Nelson was responding to Bauer with. And if I were Bauer, I'd buy Perez a steak for doing his best Jake "You showed a lotta heart shakin' it off like that" Taylor impression to steer Cruz toward first.
bighat Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Nice contact by Cron. Hit it to the wrong spot. Too bad Eddie didn't advance the runners - but if Eddie had simply moved Polanco to 3rd the result here would have been the same.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Miller = WPA play of the game right there, so far
jkcarew Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Rosario has no business swinging at that particular 3-0 pitch in that particular situation.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Big AB here for Rosario. Time to perform like the All-Star we all think he is.3-0, no outs, runners on first and second, pitcher having trouble throwing strikes, and Rosario swings at ball four, eventually flies out ...
Blake Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 The joys of framing!Frame it and call it "Ode to Dali!"
bighat Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Meanwhile the Mets and Nationals have combined for 22 hits in DC.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Watching on Fox and just saw that atonal, indescribably awful McDonalds fish sandwich commercial for the first time. What's the over-under on how many times it airs before triggering all of tv-watching America to re-enact the church scene from Kingsman?
jkcarew Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 3-0, no outs, runners on first and second, pitcher having trouble throwing strikes, and Rosario swings at ball four, eventually flies out ...Is the take sign too old school? Would have been the right call...including the right call before the pitch was thrown.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Is the take sign too old school? Would have been the right call...including the right call before the pitch was thrown. You shouldn’t need to tell your # 4 hitter not to swing at a bad pitch on 3-0.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Is the take sign too old school? Am I disqualified from answering if I'm typing it on a Kaypro?
jkcarew Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 You shouldn’t need to tell your # 4 hitter not to swing at a bad pitch on 3-0.Then he hasn't watched much tape on Rosario.
Heinie Manush Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Man, Cuzzi's all over the place.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Man, Cuzzi's all over the place.Mostly in the Twins favor. Seems rare to say that.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Tie game at home in the 9th. This would be a situation that “the book” says to use your closer.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Tie game at home in the 9th. This would be a situation that “the book” says to use your closer. Yup. One more reason to get one.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 That’s a lot of shoulder movement by Parker as he gets in to his set position.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 It’s a designed play. Throw it directly into the Kasota Stone backstop and hope for a good bounce back to the pitcher or catcher, and make a quick throw to the runner trying to advance. I think. Not sure.
bighat Verified Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Leaving in Parker here - with the way the Twins are hitting plus the undermanned 'pen I guess you have to?
