Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Envision that 94 MPH put out pitch in a bullpen role... That could (and should) be his future.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I'm guessing that's really funny, but I confess I have no idea.(Life Coaches aren't real big on giving up under any circumstances.)
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Tried to do his Jake Cave impression there, but lacks the panache to completely whiff and let the ball travel to the wall.I have confidence with more practice he'll get there.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 (Life Coaches aren't real big on giving up under any circumstances.) We used to just play. I had no idea there were actual coaches.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 For the moment, Mauer and Rosario make this game worth watching a while longer.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I have this Irish friend who is opening up a store featuring tables, chairs and such that are meant to be used outdoors here in sunny Arizona. He's calling his place "Patty O'Furniture."That joke's as old as you are, Chief.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 My dad's neighbor invented the miniskirt. Denise Arshowing. And that joke's as whatever it is as you, Ash.
Crackedfungo Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Outfield play sure sucks compared to our regular (when hitting and not injured outfield. It sure can pick up or diminish up a pitchers confidence when you have multiple Delmon Young plays in a game.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I recently had an unpleasant skin condition in a sensitive spot. Went to see my dermatologist. Jacques Kitsch.Ish.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Oh well, easy come easy go. (Referring to the game's status, not the silly names.)
big dog Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I support letting Stewart pitch to Encarnacion, and I support taking him out after Encarnacion hit the double to put the Indians back in front. This is exactly what I wanted Molitor to do in Stewart's last start, and I'm glad the kid got a chance to go five and leave with the game tied. Didn't happen, but he had his shot. And if we lose this game 3-2, it's still ok with me.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 And that joke's as whatever it is as you, Ash.I've learned not to be upset by comments like this, thanks to my Meditation coach. Dolly Lama.

wavedog Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Going back to the intro question - since you don’t her well yet you can get your teacher a gift card. Maybe to a local restaurant or Starbucks.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Rosario played the wall well on that long single by Gomes.
S. Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Did Smalley just call him Edward Encarnacion?
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Grossman gives us the lead! Who'da thunk?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Grossman gives us the lead! Who'da thunk?I guess he's gotta make up for his defensive gaffes. That makes him the perfect "not good enough to win games but also not bad enough to get DFA'd" guy.
snepp Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 A couple more runs and they'll have surpassed the previous week's worth of output.
big dog Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I might have let him go one more batter still, but I wasn't paying close attention and maybe he was visibly out of gas?I wouldn't have minded him going one more batter, but Molly gave him a chance to leave with the game tied even with a runner on base so at least he got his shot to walk off the mound tied.
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Good to see nice pitching by May and Rogers
snepp Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Astudillo struck out? I demand a recount.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 6 more outs and I will retire.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 A pitch right down Broadway isn't a strike? Brutal.
snepp Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Attaboy Logan, take one for the team.
snepp Verified Member Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Ok Sano-sie, time to pony up, you owe us a big fly.
