Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I'm Three-Quarters but Gibson is Whole.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Now that one I would have challenged. Guess the Indians are challenge shy after yesterday challenging so early in the game and losing the challenge.

Must have been another view showing a missed tag.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 OK, Kyle, you've got a 2-run lead. Keep it going.

Jham Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Good Kyle and Bad Kyle often appeared in the same game in years past... the new Kyle seems to shake adversity and stay agresive much better.
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 That was a professionally struck baseball. It had everything. Exit velocity, launch angle, and a center fielder who could not leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Good Kyle and Bad Kyle often appeared in the same game in years past... the new Kyle seems to shake adversity and stay agresive much better. They often appeared in the same inning.

Agreed. A year ago, I'm not sure Kyle makes it out of the 5th if he gives up the Encarnacion homer followed by the single. It would just snowball.
wavedog Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Happy for Gibson and the consistency he has shown so far this season - as mentioned here he has been up and down in the past. Hopefully for all of us this continues and gives us some good choices to make after this season.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2018 Author Posted June 3, 2018 Strat-O-Matic Report - Top of the 5th Brantley doubles.Ramirez singles, Brantley to 3rd.Ramirez steals 2B.Encarnacion grounds out, runners hold.Kipnis walks, based loaded.-- Matt Magill now pitching --Gomes doubles, Branley and Ramirez score (5-1).Allen grounds out, runners hold.Zimmer grounds out to short. Yikes, the Twins trail 5-1 here. Unfortunately, Magill could not prevent runs from scoring, but he did get those two outs at the end. Things aren't looking so good over here in Strat-O-Land.
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I have come to the conclusion that Sanos plate discipline is in direct proportion to the pitchers ability to throw low outside sliders. .
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Damn, was hoping for a walk so Kepler could run up Clevinger's pitch count and the Twins can get into that vaunted Cleveland bullpen in the sixth.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Wow, Sano! This is the arm we know. Wow!
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I think that pulling Gibson here was smart.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Pretty good for a big man. That was pretty good for any sized man.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 That's on Molitor. I believe Pressly has been terrible at stranding runners this year.
FattCrapps Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Pressly can't pitch in a close game.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Paul Molitor again puts us at a deficit with another questionable decision. Stop me if you’ve heard this before.
