DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Oh come on...where's the hustle? Where's the urgency for a 21st run?
gil4 Verified Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 It's a lot more fun to listen to the Mariners' broadcasters tonight than it was last night. Too bad it wasn't the White Sox. Hawk is always fun when they are getting blown out.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 This game is going to do wonders for our Pythagorean W-L (run differential). (before the game it was 24-32)
David HK Verified Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 As you wish. Wait! Stop! Too early for dinner! Don't jinx it!
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Is it too soon (jinxwise) to mention that Cleveland lost?

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Those are too saucy and too red in color. They need to be Vinegar based and they need to look like thisYou would hate these
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 You would hate these I might even eat the celery first
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Shame about the missed extra point, but when you give your starter a month's worth of run support in one game and set the franchise record for hits in a game, it takes some of the sting out of it. Suck it, Pythagorean projection!
David HK Verified Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Cleveland lost!Song cue if I ever heard one---

brettbrett88 Verified Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 WTF Twins?! Did the owners give you all a pay rise before the game or something?!
gil4 Verified Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I don't have the fun with numbers trademark around here, but these numbers are actually fun. Twins' Avg/OBP/SLG/OPS tonight:,571/.588/.918/1.506 Happy extrapolating.

brettbrett88 Verified Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I don't know. But i am looking forward to finding out. This is the sort of game that can indicate folk have figured something out. I hope Sano was paying attention... My softball team lost similarly 19-4 or so. I went 0 for 2. But i gotta say it was a pleasure watching the other team play. They only had one way to play the whole game. Everyone was getting after it.Surely the same lineup tonight to see if they can reproduce?! Obviously Santana is pitching!

I saw the batting and onbase percentages were different, and remember earlier comments about no walks, went to the box score to find out who got beaned. I guess i jumped to conclusions...

I guess i jumped to conclusions...Under the circumstances those walks were pretty disappointing. Everything's falling in or flying out - swing the bat! (Much more fun to complain about that than to have had the bats stay home and still have Gibson pitching.)
