At the game. Sorta get the reasoning. BUT someone please explain why you wouldn't keep Santana in. 100pitches shutout through 6. He could've done the same **** Duffy did.

Called up Santana's projected numbers and ESPN has him going 29-0 with a 0.65 ERA. I remember when Gibson (Bob, not Kyle) went 22-7 with a 1.12 ERA in 1968. And that year I batted .545 in Little League and played catcher after Bill Freehan put on a clinic in Flint on an off day in May. Good times.

I batted .900 my last year of little league. Oddly, this did not earn me a great deal of tail in college. I still don't get it.

Needs to be a "groan" button for that one. In fact, with Chief's jokes, I'm surprised one hasn't been installed yet.

He picked him up the old fashioned way, by the neck, and threw him right out.

I went out and played hold em at one of the local casinos last Friday night and I went 0-162 on pots entered.

Good times.

Well... they had some tickets and realized it was my birthday, so they invited me.

Ha, I thought I was the only one who might have noticed that.  This wasn't what Sherri had in mind when her husband said 'I got us tickets for tonight to celebrate your birthday'.

Military looks like a manager that wants to have people think he gets advanced stats.. Bullpen moves for the sake of moves just kill me. I hope Santana took himself out of the game because I do not belive in his ability to manage a pitching staff

Santana doesn't frequently exceed 100 pitches, IIRC. Keeps him fresh or something.

Okay, I hope that story is in a game thread. That sounds amusing.

It's was actually kind of painful.

He was speaking somewhere in Cheyenne Wyoming. I was like 21 or 22 Years old and he was the first famous person that I had ever interviewed.

The guy was a complete prick and he would rip apart my questions instead of answering them. I had to stammer my way through. Completely afraid that my next question would be worst than the last one.  And it was... according to him anyway.

So I went to commercial break... pointed at the door and said... you can leave now.

Went home that night and I thought my career was over.

Went to work the next day and nobody ever spoke about it.

Like it didn't happen and I remember thinking... I guess I'll be alright.

Henry is a name that needs to be brought back to popularity.

Noah is all the rage now. It's a fine name in times of a flood... but for everything else... You need a guy named Henry. He'll get it done.

I've gone through life with the name "Blake" and it was cool, because I never worried about someone calling my name and then realizing they were looking for someone else. Then people decided "Blake" was a good name for kids. About broke my neck a couple of times.
