AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Late to the party, but I just want to thank RB for bringing Joe Mantegna to the Joe M party.Probably should have gotten at least one Joe M visiting a Menards into Barks sanomobile montage. One more comment...Buxton hit the ball before his upper deck shot, a line out to LF, really hard. I foresee some triples for the young man in the near future.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 We have them here in Oklahoma too. We don't get temps in the -30°F range, however, which is what I think of when I think about the Dakotas. The 110-degree days make it all worthwhile. gil4 1

ashbury Verified Member Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Getting off to a 1-0 lead is so overrated. The game log on bb-ref.com shows Dozier's HR added only 12% to the win probability, while Sano's 2-run jack added 18%. Imagine how large the WPA would have been on a 3-run homer, if Dozier would have just gotten on base. Doesn't speak well to his spirit of team play. Jerr, USAFChief, Hosken Bombo Disco and 3 others 6
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Given our success with Johan and Ervin, are there any other pitching Santanas that can come help us? The easier way would be to have Gibson and Hughes change their last names. Mike Sixel, Blake and gil4 3
