3-3 bottom of seven.

Gibson goes 5+, Breslow has a rough debut, but no damage done because Pressly gets two outs with the bases loaded.

Buxton having another rough day at the plate; 0-4. Only on K, but in the worst spot.

Santana having outfield adventures and generally showing why he shouldn't be in the lineup except in an emergency.

Kepler's stinging the ball, Rosario walked twice somehow, and Sano's having a good day at the plate albeit without much power.

Thanks! Can't say I'm surprised by the update of D Santana....

bragger. Did you get a Sixel on any hole, like Spieth?

Haha not quite! Playing in a father son tournament in California. First match is at 2:30 PT!

We were also alluding to the fact that Santana's play in LF gave the Royals a run. Not just a batting thing.

Santana also made a nice catch in the 1st inning at the wall, that's gotta count for something.

Castro's positive impact is going well beyond the pitching staff, he's findaing a way to put Sano on a great jogging program.

Bwahahaha. He could afford to lose a few more. He's still to big for my liking.

It was a nice recovery after a poor route

The small and quiet crowd reminds me of listening to a minor league game. Can hear conversations.

Can someone give a quick synopsis of what's been happening? Sorry, been out golfing.

Also, Breslow was brought into the game and almost cost us some runs.

However, when Breslow came back into the dugout he gathered all his teammates and told a cautionary tale about his poor performance, with all the players nodding in unison. This is what good mentors do.

I really want this to be true, but it's a great story! PotD for me....

Man, these Royals hitters sure love the low pitch. Nearly every Royal's hit has been in the bottom third- or even lower- of the zone.

EDIT: I went back on gameday- 7 out of 9 Royals hits through 8 innings today were in the bottom third or lower. Only Mous' single in the 4th and Escobar's double in the 5th were middle or higher.

I've seen things in these first 3 games I didn't see all last year. Good things

Same here. I'm trying not to get over excited about this season based of this series, but it's really hard not to lol.

See? Santiago should have started today, too.
