The announcers said that Dozier is going to be focusing on doing a lot of running these last two weeks of ST, so we're likely going to see lots of attempts from him once on base.

I'm at the game today. It's my first time going to a Spring Training game. It's been pretty good so far with the #ParkBang & the Sano HR. Buxton's diving catch was scary. I hope he's okay. I'm not surprised he left the game after that.

 

Then we also had the DanSan-esque defense by Benji Gonzalez on the dropped pop up.

Well, I do many things, none of them very well, so perhaps you're on to something here.

Hate to say it, but given that Duffey is starting today and Mejia is pitching in relief, this late into spring training, the managerial staff probably has firm intentions of sending Mejia to AAA to start the season.  And considering that Berrios has only pitched 4 innings with the Twins and 5 innings with Puerto Rico this spring, I would bet that for at least this reason, he will also start at AAA.

 

So unless I'm missing some innings over at the minor league complex, it would seem to me that Duffey is in line for the 5th starter spot?

I wish I could get excited about a Sano homerun, but until the K/BB rates get back to something reasonable it's really tough to care about an occasional solo homer.  44% k-rate and only 2 walks this spring...woof.
