Mauer should have an extra pair for you in case if you forget!

Well, if you are going to waste electricity by having your lights on all the time, this is one way to spend less money doing it I guess...
Kwak Verified Member Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 If we could repeat pie day that would make me happy.Doesn't Chicago still have Baker's Square? They had two days of pi day here.

Otwins Verified Member Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 I was at the game but had to leave in the 6th to catch a flight home. Park and Sano home runs were both no doubters. Duffey pitched very well much better than last Wednesday in the triple A game. I was waiting for him to get hit harder the second time through the lineup but he actually threw better. He started both hitters in the 4th with very slow curve balls for strikes. Really set up both hitters well. My highlight of the game was when the Toronto fan sitting next to me hollered " that's in the gap" on the ball Buxton caught. I was down here all week and I cannot imagine Park not making the team. It seemed like Liriano can strike out Sano every time. Sano does not get good swings against him. Sano hr came after Liriano left the game. Last year when I left for home I thought we were horrible. This year seems a little better. Hopefully the pitching can stay competitive. That is my worry. I think the defense is better. GO TWINS

Huh, might need to save this site! But, this is the "official national day calendar of Twins Daily"* http://www.nationaldaycalendar.com/ *not really, but hey, it's a game thread...
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Doesn't Chicago still have Baker's Square? They had two days of pi day here.I thought that was a Minnesota thing? But if there are any, they are out in the burbs somewhere, and I live downtown and rarely venture outside the city limits unless traveling. But we have some good pie shops around. But at this writing, I'm in Fort Myers. Edit: I take that back. I think there are a couple within the city limits, but still hell and gone from where I live.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Fort Myers doesn't have pie, or all the shops close by 2 pm for sleepy time?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Fort Myers doesn't have pie, or all the shops close by 2 pm for sleepy time? The Farmers Market restaurant does. That's the down home southern fried chicken place. They have good pie, with crusts made the right way, with lard. But, alas, didn't get there tonight after all. And besides, remember that I had a piece of pie for breakfast. I wasn't kidding about that. I really did. So, that was my pie allowance for the day.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted March 20, 2017 Author Posted March 20, 2017 Pie for breakfast. And Twins win 8-2. Now that is the Life. Must remember though... Corelation does not imply causation.

Correlation can have something to do with causation. Ever game day. Until they lose. We're counting on you!
