The good news is that this is likely the beginning of the end for Trump, the WaPost is doing some fantastic work and shows just how important journalism is to our democracy as a whole. 

It looks like the Russian Dossier is at least 80% true, it won't effect much, but I really really really really want the Russian urine hooker party to be verified as well. Just as one last insult to Donald Dump before he gets impeached.

The good news is that this is likely the beginning of the end for Trump, the WaPost is doing some fantastic work and shows just how important journalism is to our democracy as a whole.

Huge shout-out for the WaPost. They've been doing stellar work over the past few months. Between the lines, you can see Bezos just salivating over the idea of his Watergate moment.

 

And I think there's a damned good chance he gets it. If anyone is going to break a Trump-ending story, I'd put money on it being the WaPost.

Also, interestingly I caught Laura Ingraham on Fox and Friends (flipping channels) and i stopped to see a right wing take on Flynn.  She was highly critical of everyone in the West Wing being "yes men".

 

Found that interesting.  Cracks forming?

After the way Congress completely folded to start 2017, I think it's going to be a grind. Each scandal will peel off a handful of Republicans who are worried about 2018.

 

My biggest concern is that this administration won't continue being this obviously incompetent. As we've seen with Congress' capitulation to everything Trump wants and desires, any righting of the ship will likely see all the GOP drones fall back in line.

Americans certainly need to take the blame for Trump, but as a Minnesota Citizen, I blame the Canadians Secondarily for not making an effort to acquire Minnesota in a trade for PEI or Newfoundland.

 

I bet we could be had straight up for PEI. MN is a liberal stronghold, and I am sure the GOP would be happy to rid themselves of us. Maybe throw in a lifetime supply of Poutine for Trump to sweeten the deal, I think he would like that, it is right in his dietary wheel house.

 

Canadiens need to take their share of the blame for this fiasco.

Now cnn is alleging Trump campaign was in contact with Russia throughout election. This is getting to levels I never thought I'd see in my life. I'm completely embarrassed. What will it take for treason or impeachment? How do we hand the presidency over to someone who directly benefited from the correspondences?

The most upsetting thing to me is not that they did this, it's that they did this and actually thought they wouldn't get found out. What a complete lack of respect for the public, journalism, and the people. Their arrogance will be there downfall, rightfully so.

I like how just last Friday Trump said he was unaware of a report that the DOJ had warned the White House about Flynns contact with Russians. And yet his spokesman said the White House had been 'reviewing and evaluating" Flynns situation for a few weeks trying to ascertain the truth.

A solid quarter of my FB feed have been crickets on Trump for two weeks running.

 

Interesting, as they were the same people who screaming endlessly about emails six months ago.

 

I don't even really care about Flynn and his phone call. As for Trump and Pence, I almost expect them to cover for Flynn in that situation. What really bothers me is the solidifying evidence of a connection between Trump and Russia and that's been bothering me since the hacking.

 

If there's even one solid connection between the hacking and Trump, his ass needs to be thrown in ****ing jail. That's straight-up treason.

Absolutely.  I mentioned that a few pages back, they've almost taken to matching the left's silliness.  And now actually one upping them.  It's horrifying.

Beginning of the end.

Hopefully Pence can go down in the scandal as well. I don't like Paul Ryan very much, but compared to those two? He looks pretty good.
