So, I was thinking about blue jays (the bird). It's a good-looking bird but it has an obnoxious call and it's an obnoxious bird. Pushes other birds around like it owns nature and a messy eater. Does that carry over to the team that is its namesake and the fans thereof? An opinion on this matter from any qualified observer (for example a resident of a large city in southern Manitoba) would be interesting to read.

I've been to a number of games in Tronno, and the guy next to me always seems to spill his beer and ends up wearing his popcorn. So they got the messy part down.

 

The sports media there revels in shoving every Tronno sports team down the rest of the country's collective throats, resulting in TSN being colloquially called the Toronto Sports Network. So yeah, they think they run the joint.

 

The only obnoxious fans are the bandwagon ones who emerge around September with the Jays in contention. They never miss an opportunity you tell you all about how much they love the team and what a great player Edward Encarnacion is .
