Watch a preview clip this morning of Suicide Squad.  Will Smith doesn't fit at all....

Agreed. I was excited before that this was the summer blockbuster to watch in the theater. Now after seeing the clips and reviews, it's looking more like a Red Box rental.

Star Trek Beyond is supposed to be a big winner. Will try to get to that this weekend.

The closer we get to the premiere date of Suicide Squad, the more I worry it's not going to be good... The reviews I'm reading resemble the general opinion of Danny Santana around here.

Yep. I saw some fans wanted to boycott rottentomatoes.com for the bad reviews. Warner brothers just can't make a good dc comics movie. It sounds like where they screwed up on this one was by making it pg-13 and playing it too safe.

I've heard good things about it, myself. I think people get caught up in the narrative that DC can't make good movies and go into them with that mindset.

I can see why they made it PG-13 to attract the kids. It just takes a little more creativity to create a cleaner script and plot for a good movie. Judging off the reviews they must not have created a good script and plot. Which is too bad. The storyline has a ton of potential.

Hard to make a show about bad guys be PG-13.  That's a mistake.  Deadpool didn't have any issues with an R rating.
