Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 If one of the league's best teams implodes against one of the league's worst in a 4 game series, and no one is around to watch it, did it even happen?
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Is it bad when you pour your milk down the drain and you have to use the garbage disposal? :-)All I know is, no more eggshells and celery. Doesn't make a very good sandwich, either.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I think Duffey had recovered well after the last two starts. 68 pitches in bottom of 6. Nice work. I think he can go 8 or better. River B - This is a voodoo call. I'm mocking the voodoo.
Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I once played a slow pitch softball game against a team called "The Dingers." Most of them wore jeans but I overlooked it out of respect for their team name.

Santana error doesn't count either.

twinssporto Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Napoli just sent a message about voodoo mocking!!!!So did Santana error. I'll turn off my lap top now.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 THAT IS A ****ING DOUBLE??? COME ON.... GET IT TOGETHER.
drivlikejehu Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Grossman would have caught it.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 So did Santana error. I'll turn off my lap top now. Double, a major league player can't be expected to catch that.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 How is it that Dantana can look like a Gold Glover in the OF one game and then like a chipmunk stuck on a glue trap the next?
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Napoli just sent a message about voodoo mocking!!!!I will gladly mock your voodoo - - Ghaaak! [Chokes on celery and eggshell sandwich]
twinssporto Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Double, a major league player can't be expected to catch that.It was in his glove.
crapforks Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I'm still in favor of leaving Duffey out there. He either has to make some adjustments or not be in the rotation. Let him learn when its 9-5. Send him out again.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Grossman would have caught it. Yeah Well... That's because it wouldn't have occurred to Grossman to try catch it in his shirt.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Yeah Well... That's because it wouldn't have occurred to Grossman to try catch it in his shirt. Voodoo only effects those in the field not on the bench.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Double, a major league player can't be expected to catch that. Not with a voodoo curse. Major League Official scorers totally get the jinx comcept.

twinssporto Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 OK - This is a very serious question/post... I have my MLB debute for the Twins Daily Game Thread on August 13th. I haven't slept in weeks and find myself short of breath on most days. I'm not sure what to write. Mostly I'm afraid my literary style will either bore or offend someone. Any suggestions on what to write? Ideas on topics? I'm afraid. Help...
