Rigby Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 What's red and smells like blue paint?Stitches on most baseballs thrown by Hughes?
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Hey, a run! Let's see if we can get Arcia in. I think we'll need to take advantage of every opportunity.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 What's red and smells like blue paint? Is this some kind of a fart joke??
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Bremer starting in with the "Mauer's not getting the calls he used to" stuff again.I doubt Richard has read that the called strike zone has expanded each year over the past 5, 6 years. The pitches many players were used to being called balls are now called strikes. Anyone see the highlights of the Angels game yesterday? Umpire was calling balls barely above the shoes strikes.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 You asked that question last year ... you'd think at least you could've switched it up a bit. What's blue and smells like red paint? Though of course, if I smelled like red paint, I'd be pretty blue ... In this case, would the answer be Always or blue paint? Oh wait ... I know the answer. Yes.No.
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 serious shift, and then they want to pitch him outside?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Is this some kind of a fart joke??No, just a mediocre one.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Yeah, but it's a Chief joke so it's probably right.http://www.memefunnies.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Understanding-women-not-happening.jpg
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 What the heck, Mauer took a called strike one! What is this world coming to?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 If we're going to blame Dozier's problems on being pull happy, shouldn't we also blame Mauer's problems on being oppo happy?
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Perkins had a setback while soft tossing. Bad sign.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Perkins had a setback while soft tossing. Bad sign. The same is happening to Phil Hughes today.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 If we're going to blame Dozier's problems on being pull happy, shouldn't we also blame Mauer's problems on being oppo happy?Chief at least they are happy!
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 The same is happening to Phil Hughes today.I liked this even though I don't like this.
S. Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 If we're going to blame Dozier's problems on being pull happy, shouldn't we also blame Mauer's problems on being oppo happy?Yes. And we should also probably blame the coaching staff that the players apparently don't listen to at all. Or the coaching staff that isn't trying to fix these issues at all. Either way. Perkins had a setback while soft tossing. Bad sign. I'd wager that Perkins is cooked and as long as he's the "elite" guy in our pen, our pen is going to continue to be trash.
S. Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Man, Hughes sucks so bad he can't even manage to hit him.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 ok, why was Hughes trying to hit Donaldson?
S. Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 ok, why was Hughes trying to hit Donaldson?Cuz he's a baby and is upset that he's terrible?
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 ok, why was Hughes trying to hit Donaldson? For the second day in the row he was yelling FU at the TC dugout. Hughes should have beaned him.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Not to mention Donaldson has a history with Plouffe, Perkins, and Dozier.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 This team is an embarrassment. They're mad at Ramirez for showboating. They're mad at Donaldson for not running out a grounder. Now they're made at Donaldson for spitting in their general direction. And Hughes is so terrible he can't even properly hit someone. This kind of crap has to come from the "leaders" - Molitor, Zuke, Dozier ... get rid of them all. Their "fire" is a joke.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Cuz he's a baby and is upset that he's terrible?and Hughes tried to hit him twice, and missed?? EMBARRASSING
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 There ain't a bigger jerk in baseball than Donaldson, not even Puig or Harper are as bad as he is. Donaldson and Bautista are the smallest squeak pigs in the game.

Looked more like he spit in their general direction.
S. Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Honestly, when you're getting paid millions of dollars to essentially throw batting practice, I don't think you have any right to be upset that players are able to embarrass you. I think it'd be much more fitting if Hughes came to the plate and we all had a chance to plunk him. I'd bet some of us could actually manage to hit him on two pitches too!

Both Ramirez and Donaldson think the world revolves around them because they are good at baseball, and it is OK for players to deal with what happens on the field on the field.

No need to elaborate any further.

He has as much of a right to hit whoever he wants as you do to say that.
