Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 It's getting harder and harder for me to even care any more. I am almost ready to stop watching and just hope for a high draft pick.Yep, I know that feeling. Usually doesn't set in until much later though. Like June. May be early this year.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 They gifted us Pelfrey, and we regifted them a fine three-run HR.

Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 And eight out of the Tigers last nine runs have come with two outs.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I like watching Abad pitch. He's been a plus so far this year. His changing of speeds is Alligator Like Explanation: Alligators are fast... not fastest but fast but most of the time... they appear to be very slow So Yeah... Abad is Alligator like I think that fits.

Mark Vientos is the next Bryce Harper, and if the Braves take him there are still some very good players in next year's class.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Only if the questions are about calculating how many losses the twins will accrue.Yes but how would you account for them? I would suppose that the interest is definitely depreciating by some here. Ha.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I went for a run today.. got bit by a dog. And now I get here just in time for that. Aggies likes that you got bit... he gave your post a like. What kind of dog?

Funny thing is that I've run by that house a hundred times. That dog always looks like it was to play. Turns out the battery on it's electric fence had died and it took a chunk out of my calf.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I got a Neighbor dog like that. It can only take a chunk out of my tires so I feel much safer. Honestly, I don't think it was trying to bite. It was barking at me, like it always does. It just got closer than what it normally can. I stopped by and talked with the owner to make sure it was up to date on its shots and it let me pet it with no problems.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Did you kick it? No. I honestly wasn't expecting to be bitten. I turned and yelled and it immediately ran away.

glunn Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 That woman needs to learn the words to God Bless America before she sings it at the stadium. Yet somehow it fit well with this game.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I had a 5AM Face Off with a Pitbull once. Young and Married... Living in Apartments here in Grand Forks. 5AM... Heading off to work. It is pitch dark. Fulll Garbage Bag was left by the door for me to throw in the dumpster. Dumpster is probably 30 to 40 Yards from my car. I throw the Bag in the Dumpster... Loud Bang of an Empty Dumpster. Then I hear barking off in the distance getting closer. Walking back to my car... I can hear the sound of claws on the cobblestone. I'm maybe 5 feet from my car when I can tell the dog is real close. So I spin around and Shout and Point NO... The Dog hits the breaks and snarls... It's a Pitbull... It starts looking like it coming forward and I Yell NO and Step Toward the Dog... This went on about 10 times... Me Stepping at the snarling Pitbull and saying NO. It seemed to stop the dog but it didn't seem to defuse the situation. Finally the owner casually gets to the scene and yells the dogs name and the dog runs away. I yell back at the owner "Thanks A Lot" but the owner and the dog just went on it;s way... No Apology or anything.
