Reider Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I know Sano had the ball way before Cabrera slid into second base, but did you see where Sano tagged him? It looked like Cabrera's foot was on the bag when he got tagged, no?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Not me! It's gonna be a big goose egg for the Tigers this inning. Especially with Nolasco throwing. We didn't get 12 Million per year value from Nolasco in 14 and 15... So Nolasco is going to try get us 36 Million in Value this year. Grab him for your fantasy roster right now.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 What exactly does Santana bring to the table that Buxton does not? Santana should not even be on the roster let alone startingBuxton isn't ready to hit major league pitching, so he's in AAA. Santana is the Twins backup plan (this is where you should criticize them). Santana is a fine bench player who can play multiple positions and has pinch running abilities, so he should definitely be on the roster.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Gladden going off on a rant against the shift again. His position hasn't shifted?

For one thing, Buxton seems to be about 1000x easier to strikeout.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Now that I've seen Ricky Nolasco healthy, his game looks a lot like Tyler Duffey's. Both guys rely a lot on breaking balls, but Nolasco does a better job spreading the ball around the zone. To me this suggests that Duffey should develop a cut fastball to go with his 2-seamer, rather then dabbling with a change-up. Bend the heater left and right, then mix in all his different curves. Every now and then throw a 4-seamer just under the numbers or on a corner.

Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Santana: 2nd basemen has to run into center field to try and catchBuxton makes that play with ease.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I think losing to mike pelfrey would probably qualify this as the low point of the season. Even worse than last Sunday.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Pelfrey actually "settling in"?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Pelfrey actually "settling in"?6 in a row for big pelf. Playing with fire here.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Look at all these swing and misses.Santana, looking good.

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Crappy luck. Ball get past Nolasco, easy out for Dozier. Damn.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Its just sad supporting this team.Just gotta hope for changes in the offseason.Ryan and Molitor/Staff hopefully gone.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Santana is our starting CF because Buxton struck out 50% of the time and it was clearly Kepler's fault that it happened.
