Equal pay for equal work?

Don't tell me what to do with my body?

I don't know, I give up.

Equal pay for equal work, but still want to be saved first in case of fire or a boat sinking

I recently stumbled on "The House of David" - a "Michigan-based religious commune that was founded in 1903. Members of the House of David had to abstain from eating meat, sexual intercourse and shaving/haircuts. Ten years after its inception, the commune formed a barnstorming baseball team originally known as “The Israelite House of David.”

Can we just ignore the Robertson clan from here on. Make your duck calls... leave us alone.

Jokes usually end with silly canards, not the garden variety.

Two cannibals sitting around the fire eating a clown.

One looks at the other and asks, "Does this taste funny to you?"

Those guys could play, too.  They beat the hell out of teams barnstorming around.

I've actually heard this story before... Was it mentioned in Ken Burns' documentary? I can't think where else I may have heard it.

How long a rope does Nolasco get here?

Edit: not much

A long enough rope for him to be able to reach the ground.

Off topic, but I just watched the Ken Burns Jackie Robinson documentary.  Ken does good work.  Jackie's wife also came across like quite the lady and seems sharp not just for her age, but any age.

The Twins were going to put up a banner on the scoreboard that said, "Welcome, Friend!" but they forgot the r.

Oh goody, Casey Fien in the top of the 8th with a guy on second.

This is why the Twins needed to sign at least one good bullpen arm.

But hey, at least it ain't Boyer out there.
