With the minor detail of starting 0 and 9 and the first nine games, this has been a fun season.

Are we not entertained?

Extra innings,   and bullpen depth and timely hitting with RISP decide the winner.

Just wait for it y'all ... I can't wait to see the reactions when this game is over.

Meanwhile, I just ordered my dinner. I really like GrubHub.

May pitches best when he hits the four corners with fastballs, like Nathan used to do. Like the big Z from Zorro. Corner 1 (high left), corner 2 (high right), corner 3 (low left), and corner 4 (low right). If you can do that, and mix in a decent off-speed pitch or two, you can look great as a reliever or a closer.

This was a good example. May hit the high right corner, then finished with the low right corner. Very few hitters can deal with fastballs to the four corners.

That's the site where you bid on other diners' leftovers?

Walk it off, guys.

Yup.    Rub some dirt on it too.

Only Dick can work the phrase '..robs him of the home run!'   into the call on a ball caught two steps short of the warning track.

Is Tonkin coming in to pitch to Trout and Pujols (peeking through my fingers)?

When Plouffe got the walk, I immediately thought of a pinch runner and figured Escobar was the last one eligible on the bench.  Might as well put him in to run and then he can play 3rd or short in the 11th if it gets there and Nunez can move over or stay put.  Figured our best chance would be to get Esco to steal 2nd and take our chances from there.  And now we come back from commercial and Plouffe is hurt and Esco is in the game anyway.  Soooooo, does anyone on that bench know how to handle a late-inning strategy situation?
