Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Nick Tropeano (1-0, 0.00) vs. Kyle Gibson (0-2, 4.22) Lineups: http://www.baseballpress.com/lineups Angles (5-6):TBD Twins (2-9):TBD Twins bats erupted for a season high 3 home runs yesterday afternoon, as they wailed on the corpse of Jered Weaver and the Halos bullpen. The Twins struckout just 4 times, against 3 walks. They kept defensive mistakes to a minimum, with one exception- another outfield collision. This time between (CF) Rosario and (LF) Arcia. Come on, Twins outfielders, you just wrapped up spring training. Nick Tropeano takes the hill for the Angels today. A product of the Astros system, Tropeano was drafted in the 5th round in 2011. The righty throws a fastball 91-92, slider, changeup, and an occasional splitter. He'll be making his 13th start and so far, he's been stingy with the long ball, which seems odd since he's a fly ball pitcher. Maybe today the winds will push some fly balls into the seats. Enjoy the game!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Nice job Willi...thanks!

HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 HEY!! Jared Weaver is still a Major League pitcher. Let us not underestimate the Twins ability to defile corpses.
David HK Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I'm pushing for three...Rally Rum.jpgHad a long belt of that just now- need some sleep for change, so you all have to carry on without any snark from the East today. Go Twinkies. Oh, and how 'bout we just wear the pinstripes the rest of the way in '16?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Nunez, Arcia, and Murphy in again today. No Escobar, no Buxton.

spinowner Provisional Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Rosario in CF for second consecutive game. Good / Bad omen for Buxton?Hope Buck's hand or wrist or whatever is improving rapidly so he'll be able to swing a bat again very soon.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Last time Buxton had a wrist injury, it cost him a season. Let's hope that's not the case here. Was he hit by a pitch or something?
Blake Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Side note: Atlanta and the Twins have the same record.
