Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 These produced pieces of former twins glory are literally nauseating right now. Stop it. No one is getting pumped up. notoriousgod71 1
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 so if we *do* have a close game tomorrow, May and Pressly are used up and it's on Jepsen and Perk.Tomorrow is a day off, so we are guaranteed not to lose. Hosken Bombo Disco and Comrade Bork 2
scottz Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 you have just touched on several of the negative issues dealing with being the guest of honor at a sacrifice!I feel a little like Escobar on that Suzuki sacrifice. USAFChief, formerly33, Hosken Bombo Disco and 1 other 4
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Clearly they need the booing! Otherwise Ryan would've been gone a while ago!Keep booing!!#FireRyan You're right, that's why TR still has a job. Because not enough fans booed.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 The Twins have 7 k's today, as do the Sox. Barring extras, the White Sox +3 was the correct choice on the little bet I proposed earlier.

jimmer Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 yeah, forget the booing. Only way to send a message is stop going to the games. That hurts the pocketbook. luckylager, Todd_L and hybridbear 3
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Sox announcers are saying that the Twins miss Torii Hunter's presence. At first I thought, come on, he was just here a year. Then I thought, well, you know, I think they might be right. Who in that clubhouse is capable of putting this broken plate back together? Jerr 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 You're right, that's why TR still has a job. Because not enough fans booed.Partially, in a way. Continuing to show up, buy tickets, food and merchandise clearly is not the message of a dissatisfied fan base. TR would have been gone years ago in a market that desires a winner. Same could have been said (and was said) for Gardy.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) Never thought I'd see it this bad. I remember the 2000 season opener when a Devil Ray homered off a Radke first pitch. Of all the horrible clubs the twins have put together, this is the one that starts 0-7. Wow. Edited April 11, 2016 by Aggies7

LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) This or listening to Dave St Peter tout the "Target Field experience" and brag about the food. The two most nauseating things about Twins baseball Bremer and St Peter bragging, besides the Twins being 0-7. #RetireBremer I freely admit to having a very serious dislike for St. Peter, and on top of that, also acknowledge there's a certain amount of glad-handing and shameless, brainless promotion that goes into his job that can't really be avoided. That being said, the Twins are reaching a point where his NOT plugging the "experience" would have more value to the franchise, because of its implication that he A) is physiologically capable of experiencing embarrassment, and B} is too busy doing something, ANYTHING, really, behind the scenes to help right the ship that he doesn't have time to sell bratwurst to the public. Darius Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 There isn't another organization in any sport that has been ran this hysterically bad over two-plus decades, with no changes to top front office personnel. I wouldn't go down to that stadium this year if they paid me. It's unbelievable that there are big enough suckers out there to pay these prices to go watch this garbage. As long as that continues, nothing will change.

Now get to work on bullpen legislation. Todd_L 1
