Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Can anyone watching the game let me know what the attendance is like? Listening on the radio it sounds EXTREMELY quiet.

Is this how you develop your best hitting prospect? stuff like that......While pondering an answer to your question I missed how a Sox runner got to third. Thanks a lot. Mike Sixel 1
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Can anyone watching the game let me know what the attendance is like? Listening on the radio it sounds EXTREMELY quiet.I sometimes find the crowd is quiet when the weather is cold outside. They seem to get more into the game once it warms up and also when it gets later in the game.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I'm sure the crowd will be buzzing now (sarcasm). Are twins fans capable of booing?

Loosey Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Why did they have the infield in with 1 out a guy on third in the 2nd inning? Just get the out and deal with giving up the run. Mike Sixel and Platoon 2

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Time for me to relinquish my seat at the table. Good afternoon, ladies and germs.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Bat Mauer 2nd and he grounds into a double play. Sometimes nothing seems to go right. Danchat 1

Loosey Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Did Rosario just walk? It must be too cold for him to swing the bat? ScrapTheNickname 1

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 43.6% of the Twins outs this year have been strikeouts. If that pace continues, they will break the single-season k record for a team. By more than FIVE HUNDRED strikeouts. Aggies7 1
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 pinch hit for Suzuki here? Mike Sixel 1

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Is it bad that with two out and Suzuki batting, I just want to save time and concede the out so we can get to the next inning?
Loosey Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) I didn't see the hit, but would it have mattered if they were playing back? They would have gotten the out at 1st but still given up the run. Ended up not mattering, but still. . . . Edited April 11, 2016 by Loosey
Loosey Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Man, that K w/ RISP is creeping up on 50%. Danchat 1

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Cory Provus is already beaten down by the Twins, as he declared Rollins is still a good player. I guess he really liked that .224/.285/.358 slash line last year. To be fair, that would be our 4th best hitter so far this year, so maybe he's on to something. Mike Sixel 1
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Park is starting in a small sample size that these International Free agent signings of players that are supposed to be major league talents is something the Minnesota Twins should just stay away from.Park looks like he is guessing and has no idea or a plan once he he steps into the box every at bat. I get that he is a major league rookie other than his age, but he is looking more and more like a Nishioka re-dux. I would rather have Mastroianni up from AAA then continue to watch Park flail away at bad pitches.I look forward to more Park, no Mastrionni. Park is at least fascinating. (my opinion only, of course.) Danchat 1
Loosey Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I'm calling it Buxton Triple.Hopefully three bases type of triple. Not three strikes kind.
