USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 The Royals are having a Comicon day ... that would be an interesting game to attend.A Commie Convention? I would've thought Kansas/Missouri would've been a poor choice for that.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I agree with you. Although I think Buxton doesn't look ready now, I still think he has a great future. Perhaps a better analogy would be Rougned Odor, who started last year really bad, but had a great second half after a short interim in AAA.For the record, I would have been fine if they had decided to start him in AAA. But they didn't. So, since they decided to start him here I think they should ultimately let him get a decent sample size of AB's before they send him down.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Is it a violation of TD confidentiality policy to reveal that Circus Boy's first name is Doug? winner. //edit: although, if I say so myself, the "Christian Bail" thing was pretttttttttty, pretttttttty, pretttttty good.//
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 A Commie Convention? I would've thought Kansas/Missouri would've been a poor choice for that.Yeah, but I can think of worse places for that. Thankfully there's no professional baseball in Idaho.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 A Commie Convention? I would've thought Kansas/Missouri would've been a poor choice for that. They want people showing up in red Chiefs' apparel.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I go back and forth ... turn off autocorrect, get annoyed ... turn on autocorrect ... get annoyed. It's a no win situation. Hopefully unlike this game.Yep.Ultimately I leave it on because I like the convenience of letting auto correct capitalize and apostrophe contractions when needed.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 They want people showing up in red Chiefs' apparel.Chief is a commie?
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Yeah, but I can think of worse places for that. Thankfully there's no professional baseball in Idaho. What? The Royals have a MILB team over there.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 What? The Royals have a MILB team over there.Exactly. ba-dum-tsh
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 The Royals announcers just mentioned the Twins, and how they bet there's plenty of frustration building in their dugout. I talked back to the TV and said, 'Thqts nothing. Pick a thread on TD.'
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Alright let's go. Capitalize on the lead off hit.and don't let the phone auto-correct to a backwards k.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 He taught Marx political philosophy.Groucho, Harpo or Chico?Wait, I know the answer: yes.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 A Commie Convention? I would've thought Kansas/Missouri would've been a poor choice for that. College campuses there are full of discontent and might be fertile ground for recruitment. When I drove through Lawrence in 1999, the students of U Kan. were protesting Prohibition.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 we have a threat. for what, I don't know.
