ANNNNNNNNNND Welcome! To Season 2 of Minnesota Twins Whine Line. I am your host, Vanimal, along with my trusty sidekick, the Intern. I'm posting from a PLANE! You'll never believe this.... I got a great deal on a flight to Fort Myers, FL, along with tickets for the next 7 days to all of the Minnesota Twins spring training games! I'll be posting LIVE from Hammond Stadium by tomorrow. 

What have you all been doing with yourselves since the last time I spoke to you? My winter break was great! The intern spent all of his time playing MLB The Show so he can fill your brains with all of the HOT takes you'll ever need. I spent 6 weeks in a Dominican prison! Apparently it's not normal to stalk Miguel Sano and shoot rubber bands at him if he picks up a donut. Oh well, you live and you learn. 

Let's do a role call to see who's all going to be joining us this year! I'm going to mix a margarita and watch the magic happen....

I tried to drink the "Twins Kool-Aid" I left in the garage last season next to my awesome AIWA boombox.  But I think the Kool-Aid was radiator fluid.  The dizzyness and vomiting will go away on it owns without medical attention Right?

Oh boy.... First call of the year and Loosey is going into a coma from drinking radiator fluid. We're off to a strong start! If you can hear me Loosey, call the poison hotline! Or, you know, someone else might do it. Can't say for sure.

I don't think it's any secret that ChiTown has some growing up to do.... I've also heard that North has been isolated deep in the Manitoba forest to fight grizzly bears, increase the velocity of beers per game thread, and read up on witty replies for the game threads.

Isn't it funny how we all have an opinion on Sano's weight, when we're all starting the season in the worst shape of our lives? I think I ate my body weight in tacos once I was released from Dominican prison!

Personally I lost 3 pounds over Thanksgiving (not sure how) gained two before Christmas, lost 5 between Christmas and New Years (this confused me too) gained 3 in Jan., 3 in Feb. and held even in Spring Training...

On the other hand I prepared for a transition to the outfield by playing basketball with my homies 3 days a week.

It's the best time of the year, guys. Spring Training's about to begin, the intern is hard at work with the new MLB The Show game, and I'm 2 margaritas deep. What's your bold, HOT prediction for the Twins this season?
