jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Ah, that's a shame for Duffey. Got too much of the middle with that heater. Man, did that guy hit that ball hard. Sano-hard. Took off like a jet from an aircraft carrier.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 And just like that Dick goes into his playoff ticket promo.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 OK guys, man up and turn it around.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 It can only be good news that Bauer is out of the game.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 A buddy of mine asked if I was upset that the twins would probably not make the playoffs given the poor expectations coming in. My answer is an emphatic yes. Too many missed chances since the all star break. The young guys are actually the ones who have produced the most. It's the veterans and their lack of production that has been the downfall, to be honest. Dozier has zero hits this series and three on the road trip. Pelfrey last night. Perkins with all of his struggles. The various bullpen meltdowns. Rosario, hicks, sano, Duffey, Gibson have pulled their weight IMO. The vets have let us down.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Shameful to put up an offensive performance like this against a struggling pitcher with your season on the line. I saw this coming from a mile away. I just figured it would be in the 8th or 9th.What a shame.Yep, beating guys like Kluber and Carrasco and putting up a dud like this against Bauer is pretty disappointing. But, such is the story of this team really.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Santana moves into the on-deck circle. Molitor has given up.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 The score is obviously different but this game reminds me of Game 163 against Chicago. Twins offense doing nothing, mediocre pitcher throwing up a great game, and then Boom. One big HR turns the tide of the game and the season.
amjgt Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 0-10 as a pinch hitter.... he's due?

The vets are the guys that have been around "contributing" to the past four seasons of misery.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 TD Game Thread, come for the fun, stay for the histrionics.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Sometimes dumb luck is the best friend you can have.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Great guess by Molitor to send the runner. And Escobar gets another big hit. Need a slump buster from Dozier.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Cleveland can have Lindor... We have one of the Escobars.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Sure, who had a Santana walk leading to the tying run?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I love that little Escobear!!! Walks.........................will......................haunt!!!!!
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 The Twins are like the Jason Voorhees of baseball. Run as fast as you want, but they are still right there behind you.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Score..................just ****ing score!!!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 See Brian Dozier... Good things happen when you go the opposite way.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Sure, who had a Santana walk leading to the tying run?Clearly, his manager did.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 If 3B plays back squeeze 'em.
