Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Nope. It ended last week on that ugly game where Detroit came back and scored 5 runs late.Ahh thx.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Just setting up the double play ball right? Guys? Guys...?
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Duffey is hanging that curve tonight - just did it again to Almonte. Poor lad is tired
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Just setting up the double play ball right? Guys? Guys...?Ah, the unusual reverse psychology jinx. Good work, SwainZag!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Just like they wrote it up.
jimmer Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I love the MLB Network guys making excuses for that play by Hunter. 'Hunter normally makes that play.' Yeah, in 2006 guys :-)
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Hicks catches that. what happened? It goes back to a few game threads about two months ago talking about Hicks being able to catch a ball that a lesser outfielder didn't. Sorry for the overly obscure inside reference.

Sorry for the overly obscure inside reference.I hadn't even seen the play till like 3 minutes ago on MLB Network. I don't get the Twins games here.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Angels and Rangers underway...
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Bauer isn't this good fellas.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Long time, no posts. Hope you've all been enjoying this run by the Twins. It's been fun.I think I just ran out of things to say although I did lurk around a bit.Hicks on 1st. No outs. Let's do some scoring here. Good to hear from you JB Missed Ya
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Good to hear from you JB Missed YaThanks. I don't suppose you are the big Michigan PowerShell winner, are you Brian?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 If I were a Cleveland fan I'd have gotten sick of the drum about 30 years ago. If I were a Cleveland Fan... I'd get real serious about Urban Revitalization.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I don't think Duffey has much left. He's hung a few hooks, worked some long counts, but survived. The doubles weren't cheap and Kipnis' ball was probably out without the wind (Plouffe's too, maybe), but Molitor has to be ready to go to the 'pen early.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Duffey is in many ways the pitcher we always hoped Sam Deduno would become.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Thanks.I don't suppose you are the big Michigan PowerShell winner, are you Brian? No... But I'm thinking of become whoever's new best friend.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Of course he'll make a complete liar of me now, which I'll be quite pleased to accept.
NoCryingInBaseball Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I realize that the team is watching Duffy with some sort of pitch count concern, but I am having a wonderful time watching this kid show his skills. Didn't see him in my potential 2015 line-up, now I think he has established himself as a strong rotation guy for 2016!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 That pitch to Chisenahall was a thing of beauty.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Just like I said...ride him 'til he drops.Actually 'til one batter before he drops. Hope Mollie has his ESP working tonight.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I don't fault Molitor. Duffey is good. He got beat. Move on.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Thanks.I don't suppose you are the big Michigan PowerShell winner, are you Brian? She hasn't gone public yet but the place she works at has said it's a female and she let everyone know at work that her numbers matched. I think my wife would let me marry her.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Shameful to put up an offensive performance like this against a struggling pitcher with your season on the line. I saw this coming from a mile away. I just figured it would be in the 8th or 9th. What a shame.
