Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Painting: unknown, other than a 19th century oil purchased at a second hand store in Berkshire. Album: 08 Nov 1971. So, a rendition of the future: A fiercely disgruntled future of baseball beyond the Ohio river valley. LaBombo, glunn and Riverbrian 3

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Was just thinking that earlier. Thought I caught a couple of grimaces in that last at bat.His weight transfer looked awkward, like he didn't want to drive hard off his rear leg. Is it the right hammy that's sore? Looked like it. Blake Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I was just looking at the art work that accompanies the absolutely brilliant game thread opener. I had no idea Alfred E. jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) I think that Sano would benefit from a day or two off.I would sentence him to five days of hard hot tub and massage. Ride the bench, gimpy! Unfortunately, the team doesn't do too well without Sano in the lineup. Edited September 8, 2015 by jimbo92107 Bark's Lounge, Hosken Bombo Disco, glunn and 1 other 4

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Nice to see them getting May "back on the horse" for better or worse he is our best 8th inning guy until Perkins comes back (hopefully) glunn, Riverbrian and Hosken Bombo Disco 3
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 His weight transfer looked awkward, like he didn't want to drive hard off his rear leg. Is it the right hammy that's sore? Looked like it.Not sure if that's the one that's officially bothering him, but it sure looked like there was something going on with the right leg. If he's not generating the bat speed because of that, it may be that he's taking more defensive swings. Or it could just be a rookie slump for a kid who was on a nearly impossible pace. glunn 1

Is it the right hammy that's sore? Looked like it. I think Sano has been reading his press clippings a little bit. He's been swinging hard at some stuff he wasn't swinging at before. I think he's going through a little "I'm a big strong guy who can do anything stretch' and he's gonna have to go back to not thinking that way to become that again. Just a guess based on no inside information at all. glunn and Bark's Lounge 2
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 I would bet cash money he's on the team in 2016. He'd be on my Roster in 2016. The Twins stopped calling me for advice along time ago though. glunn 1
Blake Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I know Yet somewhere on Twins Daily... Someone is trying to throw him off the roster. Who should be tossed off the Twins roster tends to be somewhat of a moving target. However, I think we can all agree that at some point this season, everyone on the roster needed to be stuck with a fork and waived. Riverbrian and ashbury 2
