Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 When will the Twins announce their September callups?Gonna take a wild guess and say September 1st? Maybe the 31st?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 When will the Twins announce their September callups?12:01am, Sept. 1. Of course, if you follow all the players on Twitter, you'll probably find out soon as they will announce it as they are told.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 The Berrios call up is the big one that hopefully happens prior to Sept. 1
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Low pressure situation for Buxton. He looks much more relaxed.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Ouch. Steal second now, just for payback!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 E-San has impeccable style. He should never even consider cutting off his hair, at least as long as he's on the Twins. Seven innings, six hits, 10 K's, no runs. If he keeps pitching like that, the man can go full 'Irie, irie, mon' or pitch with an eagle eyrie on his head if he wants. http://animalfactguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/iStock_000005398712XSmall.jpg
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Ouch. Steal second now, just for payback!I think that with a 7 run lead in the 8th inning that would violate an unwritten rule.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 The Berrios call up is the big one that hopefully happens prior to Sept. 1A Berrios call up will be preceded by someone being removed from the 40-man. When we see that, we know who's coming. I will be surprised if that happens before Sept. 1
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 O'Rourke at 93! They were right; Astros were sitting on his curve.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Berrios is pitching in ROC tomorrow night (Aug.31).
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Hmmm... Folks are gettin' on well without me. Can't complain about the game. Almost done with my stuff, i think.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Not a good outing for O'Rourke
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 A Berrios call up will be preceded by someone being removed from the 40-man. When we see that, we know who's coming. I will be surprised if that happens before Sept. 1The relevant players are on waivers right now, I'm sure. Or already cleared.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Hicks 1-5 in first rehab, D. Santana two more hits, Arcia two hits, Vargas a HR.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 "And that ball is on its way to South America"...http://sd.keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk/i/keep-calm-and-get-to-da-choppa--26.png
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 The relevant players are on waivers right now, I'm sure. Or already cleared.Still need to be removed. It's not a question of having difficulties with who, I think there are obvious choices. But it still needs to be done. But if Berrios comes up, will all be done at once ... so and so removed, Berrios added, Berrios up. But I still don't think it will happen prior as one poster suggested.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Not a good outing for O'RourkeHe almost certainly is optioned after this game to get to a 12 man playoff staff.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Someone will need to be removed from the 40-man for Fryer too.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 1 more base runner and it is a save situation. Probably should have optioned O'Rourke a couple weeks ago for a player we would actually use.
big dog Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Ryan O'Rourke, please see Mr. Molitor before you leave the clubhouse. Or Hey Ryan, Skip wants to talk to you. One or the other, please.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Odd pitch selection for O'Rourke. His bread and butter is supposed to be a devastating curve, but he was throwing mostly fastballs. Why?
big dog Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 OK, even May isn't bulletproof. I blame O'Rourke. Send him to Rochester, just on the principle of the thing. Now. Lift the curse.
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 This is getting way too close for comfort.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 This Astros team has a lot of spirit. I like them.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I know May was warming a couple innings earlier, but did he have to rush to get ready again in the 9th? Altuve is a good hitter, though.
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Finally! Is Chief here to call it?
