Great start by Santana.   And for the most part,  it was a great Santana-style start, getting ahead of hitters and getting K's and defensive swings.

 

That would be as opposed to a great Pelfrey-style start, having the good fortune to have hitters miss crushable pitches and hit rockets that find their way into gloves.
