70charger Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Chris Davis is apparently helpless against Mike Pelfrey. The truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.

Jham Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Rosario has some trouble going to his left... Maybe he should be a right fielder with that gun?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 Lou Grantm played by Ed Asner.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 well, crap. Time to run my errands.
Jham Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Pelfrey doesn't like to pitch in to righties too much does he...
Jerr Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Too, late Molitor! But, this game is destined to be a Twins win, no doubt in that happening with me!
Twinfan603 Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I really like Rosario and with his speed and arm he absolutely should turn into a good defensive outfielder, but for the love of God he needs to work on his routes to the ball.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 well, crap. Time to run my errands. You should seriously consider running your innings while the Twins blow the lead rather than after. Then maybe you could give us a warning. edit .. okay, I meant errands, lol
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Searchin' for ma pitchfork. Is it so called 'cause it inspires pitching?
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Second run that Hicks nails at home from RF, but Robinson's arm just doesn't have enough horse power. Get well soon, Aaron Hicks!
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 What the heck did Molitor say to Pelfrey?
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I'll be very pleased when Pelfrey is no longer on our roster.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 What the heck did Molitor say to Pelfrey?"Some of the fans at Twins Daily need an excuse to go to the store. See what you can do."
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 It's been covered by many but originally it was Smiley Lewis in the 50's. The version most remember was Dave Edmunds out of Wales. Two different songs. "Keep-a-Knockin" is best known as the Little Richard song but dates back well before then. "I Hear You Knockin" is the Smiley Lewis song.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Yesterday Gary Thorne called Buxton "Burton." Today he called him Escobar. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he doesn't subscribe to BA prospect rankings that closely.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I kind of prefer the manic American type of waiter to the "service" you get in the Balkans. Pieces of flair aside, at least you might get your food on the same day you order it.My 2 most hated waiter/waitress lines: ARE YOU STILL WORKING ON THAT?No, I'm not still WORKING on that. I'm enjoying it. What kind of restaurant is this? A sidewalk next to a construction site? DO YOU HAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT?Yes, I have ROOM for dessert, but I don't want any.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Gausman simply isn't this good.

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 There MUST be a good reason that the man, is firmly holding that pitchfork. He don't like that young man Pelfrey hangin round the farm lookin at his daughter sideways.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Sano realllly wanted to show up the umpire there.
Jham Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I can't stand when players weakly offer at off-speed pitches in hitter's counts. Punto would always do that. I like Thome's approach of swinging hard in case you make contact. Save the defensive swings for when you have 2 strikes.
