I actually think she did pretty well there.

I did, too ... because what's the point ... uh, deadpan. I think she played it well.

Johnson's had a few moments of late that just have me shaking my head.  Seriously Libertarians....just a guy with a freaking pulse.  That's all you had to do.

Ugh.

To be fair, that's an old clip... No, wait, that doesn't matter. It's still embarrassing.

I think he may have been attempting to tell a joke but I'm not sure. If he was, he needs to cancel his tuition check to the Al Gore School of Comedy Delivery because holy ****, that was so out of touch and awkward it actually caused me Michael Scott level pain.

I'll still vote him over Clinton or trumps. He may be a slight idiot, but at least he's genuine.

I sympathize with your position.  I don't think I agree with the "slight" part of this though.  He's gone full blown idiot over the last few weeks.

And in an election where real traction was possible for future elections, he's blowing it.

He likes the chronic. I'd cut him some slack. Climate change, Aleppo, that **** can kill a buzz. (:

I'd prefer a genuine idiot to have a beer with, but to run our country? That's just cutting off your nose to spite your face.

No, I take that back, I don't think I could even handle that level of lunacy for one beer.

I'll almost always take the intelligent monster over the idiot.

At least the intelligent monster has self-preservation skills which will at least partially extend to those around them.

That wasn't always my feeling with bush, he would have been a a great guy to have a beer or 6 with (before he stopped)

Leader of this country? Not so much.

Personally, I would never trust an alcoholic(recovering or not) of running this country or a important business either, just way too much weakness and bad decision making, which bush did plenty of in his 8 years.

I guy as well vote for the dingbat "doctor" who is running for the Green Party as well...even though she is an anti vaxxer and all sorts of other insane things.

I'm with Brock, give me a shady smart person over a downright delusional idiot any day of the week. The Klobs vs Itstimetotakeit question if you will ;)

Why would anyone want that? When it comes to big decisions, that's what advisors are for. With a shady decision maker, they always find ways to benefit themselves. Besides, Johnson isn't a complete idiot, just slightly leans that way.

If trump can get away with the **** he has pulled and not lose voters....

So - driving down the street today with a good friend of mine, going to help another friend move and we come upon a car with this bumper sticker and it gave us a good laugh.

Not watching tonight. One thing I've learned in the last few years.....don't do things that make you unhappy. Life is too short.

I'm considering that option too, as much as I want to watch. We've already seen Trump can't debate, however we've also already seen that it doesn't matter because his supporters would still vote for him even if he stood up there without saying a word drooling on his tie for two hours.

Any vote not for Clinton is a vote for Trump. I'm pretty convinced that most folks realize Trump shouldn't be president even diehard conservatives, however if they voted for a Democrat they'd feel like they would have to re-examine their personal identity, and self introspection isn't something that is comfortable for many people.

If Trump were a Democrat running against John Kasich, I'd have moral obligation issues also, though I'm pretty confident I'd get over them in time to save our country come November.

I haven't voted for many Republicans in my life, but Hill is such a lousy candidate that if any Republican with a shred of decency had run, I would have strongly considered them. However, Trump must not be elected. I will vote for Clinton despite her flaws. I do believe she would be a better president than presidential candidate and it is time for a woman to take over the Oval Office.
