I'm almost positive we are going to pass on Jackson, which is pretty upsetting. The importance of the hit tool cannot be understated. I trust the Twins have thoroughly scouted these guys, though

I'm happy with it. Took me a little while to come around on him but the scouting reports only seemed to get better as the draft approached.

 

I'm hoping for a high upside HS arm in the second round.

Count me in the happy third. I'm all for BPA, but when it's not clear who that it--i.e. it's essntailly tied--then take whoever is part of that tie that fills the biggest need. And looking ahead, SS is our biggest need.

I would have preferred Jackson but I am not disappointed with Gordon. This is a very good pick imo.
