John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 C'mon Escobar! A real center fielder would've had that one.
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Anyone notice, Correia's ERA is below 6 now. Of course I say this, then Corriea gives up a 2 run homer. Nice call! What are the odds Guierrer gets in today? 100%?
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 What are the odds Guierrer gets in today? 100%? Forearm tenderness. Day to day.
Boom Boom Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 The other candidate would be Brooks Raley. The chances of him making it to Minnesota are rather slim, or should be slim. Although, with this management of the roster, you never know.. The bullpen's a little beat up right now, it might be time to call up another reliever.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Brooks Raley DFA'd, claimed by Angels...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 The bullpen's a little beat up right now, it might be time to call up another reliever.Yes. Whichever one is the best fielder and hitter.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Chris Hermann with a ground ball to the right side, for the 400th time in this young season.Fangraphs says it's only the 382nd, but it sure seems like 400.
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Forearm tenderness. Day to day. I may be dense, but is this intended to be a joke?
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Which player Raley or Matti G would likely be more of a long term player? Seems like a bad move.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Ehhh, not a fan of this Tonkin guy. Lets send him down to make room for Eddie Guardado.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I may be dense, but is this intended to be a joke? Sure hope so.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Holy cats, Tonkin is pitching
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Which player Raley or Matti G would likely be more of a long term player? The answer to this question, and all others directed at the nature of the Twins' roster decisions, is that you're not the Twins.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Which player Raley or Matti G would likely be more of a long term player? Seems like a bad move. A 25 year old with a 3.68 ERA and 19 Ks in 14 IP or a 35 year old who picks up Gardy's kids from school? Seems like an easy choice.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 Well lost Brooks Raley to the Angels Is this actually true?
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Well lost Brooks Raley to the Angels Who are the Angels dropping from their 40-man that we get?
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Is this actually true?Yes

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Maybe they shouldn't drop Fryer from the 40... They'll lose him
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 Santana behind the plate... It's time to send Santana... Ok a walk... Maybe next time.

kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Holy cats, Tonkin is pitching Quick call up another reliever, Tonkin won't be available again till June.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2014/05/angels-claim-brooks-raley-off-waivers-from-twins.html Oh my... That was quick... Raley better be terrible and Guerrier better be good.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Hermann is wishing someone would get healthy so he can go to AAA and face pitchers he can hit.He could drive over to Fort Wayne. The Midwest League is closer to his speed.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 They lost Brooks Raley. To keep Matt Guerrier. Okay, have at it, boys. I'm done defending anything this front office does right now. Unbelievable. I don't even care about Brooks Raley but MATT GUERRIER?
