    Happ and Shoemaker in the same season... I just threw up in my mouth a little bit remembering that. A reminder to the Twins this offseason to resist the urge to go shopping in the SP bargain bin!

    I think Chris Paddack makes a huge contribution this year and will ascend to our #2 SP quickly.

    Pay the man, Shirley! On a serious note.... It will take more than Nick is suggesting this year and I suspect that Lewis will bet on himself this year knowing that a full healthy year's performance will dive the extension number FAR north of Nick's suggestion during potential negotiations next offseason.

    Buck as a permanent DH is not the answer to any question.... as proven this year

    Clearing Buxton's 15 mil off the payroll would be the best, but unfortunately there would be no takers. (Acknowledging that I was fully on board with the signing when it happened and enjoyed peak Buck as much as anyone)

    The only conundrum is why people still think there is still uncertainty around Buxton. His past provides clear certainty that he cannot be relied upon to be a full time CF and his bat is not good enough to justify being a permanent DH. Just because it is horrible for Buck, the team, and the fans does not mean it isn't true

    Pretty simple.... if the FO feels confident that they have identified the source of his regression and can address it.... then go for it. If they are just hoping that he gets 'it' back then... no
