  1. I could easily see Wallner ultimately end up playing in Japan and tearing it up there, but the MLB ain't going to be it for him for the long run.
  2. I think Prielipp ultimately ends up as a great high leverage bullpen arm (which is fantastic!) I hope that I'm wrong and he ends up as a SP3 or better, but I strongly suspect the former.
  3. Buying would be a disaster for future. This team is NOT playoff competitive, even with a few more bullpen pieces. Ryan and Jeffers are not signing an extension nor are the Twins winning any bidding wars in FA. It is malpractice not to trade them and get value in return.
  4. He has been 'a victim' of injuries (some due to poor choices). Development is always hindered by inconsistent playing time.
  5. Yesterday we won the Battle of the Bad Bullpens (trademark pending), but alas, today we lost the Battle of the Bad Bullpens.
  6. The Twins really need to give Fedko a chance or free him to find another opportunity if they do not believe in him. I have no idea if he can play in the MLB, but I do know that there is nothing left to do at AAA... so.....
  7. With the current talent level in the bullpen any 'new' strategy is....
  8. Thanks Seth.... I guess my main question is what has changed if anything in his hitting approach and does the TD staff think he deserves a look or are there obvious holes in the swing that would inevitably get exposed in the MLB? (If he ever does make it in the MLB, thank goodness that there is no searchable record of my comments on his future ;)
  9. I'll go with no because his defense continues to be and will remain atrocious. The only way you bring him back is if you think his bat will be good enough to justify being a DH.
  10. Either that or it is because he has been practicing with footballs instead of baseballs..
  11. Better late than never for Outman coming off the MLB roster, I guess...
  12. Ryan is awesome but we need to trade him. He will never resign here and Tommy P wouldn't pay for it anyway
  13. Recommendation to TD for an article. Is Sabato a possibility for 1B with the Twins?! The sample size for good performance at AAA is growing. I was one of his biggest detractors, but the question now has to be asked. It would be fascinating to have a deep dive from TD @Seth Stohs!
  14. Sliver Lining.... our position will be clear and accurate by the trade deadline. Ryan, Larnach, Jeffers, and Buck (if he wants) need to be traded to complete rebuild started last year. Ryan and Jefferes are not signing extensions at this point and we will not win a free agency bidding war. We have plenty of young outfielders that will need ABs making Larnach superfluous Happy to keep him but FREE BUCK if he wants to compete for a championship! I don't think any other players older than 25 on this roster are worth anything in a trade... but would be happy to be proven wrong!
