  1. Hill is 6'5" and only 165lbs ?!?! I feel like there is more to unlock by simply fully developing his man muscles/body which is encouraging!
  2. Their roster construction is already a mess... so why not?! As the initial cloud Pohlad subterfuge clears... we can all now agree that we have a Team with a gutted payroll with few truly impact players (Buxton and Ryan). No Tom..... you are not trying to compete this year. Silver lining is that his subterfuge likely did not have the intended impact... I doubt anyone really bought into Tom's desperate nonsense and bought more season tickets.
  3. Ryan, Buxton, Jeffers and Lopez will not be part of the next Contending Team from the Twins. We should get young talent for them that align with our next window. The past window failed... plain and simple
  4. Agree with all.. unfortunately there are 6+ million reasons that Larnach will be ceded the starting job if he stays. Not saying I like it, but that is the reality
  5. The title of this article could also have been 'Reasons That the Twins Will Not be Competitive This Year'
  6. Naw... Just Lopez, Ryan, Jeffers, and Buxton during the off season with a full, instead of half arsed, commitment to the inevitable rebuild... You know... before we lose the opportunity to get peak value because of .... (checks notes)... oh never mind....
  7. (Narrator's Voice) There is no hope for the Twins to lose this year
  8. But... but... he was in the best shape of his life! Quick question...if everybody works harder than anyone else in the offseason, would it be more instructive for TD to track down the anyone else and report back to us?
  9. Guilty already with his last name and subterfuge that he has propagated since he started running his mouth... They kept Ryan, Lopez, and Buxton in a desperate attempt to prop up season ticket sales, but added absolutely nothing to improve the 92 loss team from last year. Phase 2 of the total tear down will happen at the 2026 trade deadline.... I would absolutely support that strategy if we actually had an owner and GM who knew how to maximize trade return... but alas... we do not. Hello rock.... I'm hard place.... nice to meet you!
  10. Yes..... The Dodgers make a habit of getting rid of 'elite' bullpen arms for next to nothing...that's why they haven't won a WS since.... (checks notes....).........oh never mind!
  11. While he was a smart pick up.... remember that LA used SP almost exclusively in the WS in high leverage bullpen situations. They did NOT trust their bullpen arms. The Dodgers don't care about money, so it is clear that they did not trust him for this season. Just because this guy is better than the hot mess that currently exists in our bullpen does not make him 'elite'
  12. Worrying that Outman could be 'lost' because he has no options made me giggle. Which MLB team exactly do you think is clamoring for Outman's services? If he breaks camp with the big team because of concerns of 'losing' him... that is roster malpractice.
  13. Buckle up buttercups.... It's gonna be a looooooong season....
  14. 'Tom Pohlad has talked more openly about the Minnesota Twins in recent months' He talked a lot alright, but I would call it subterfuge and not transparency
  15. ...so....you are telling me he must be a reinforcement for the bullpen... Those Twins... always playing 4D Chess!
