  1. Lewis back to IL.... Not extending Lewis in 2023-4 is one of the best decisions the Twins have made in the last 5 years
  2. There is already a large sample size that proves otherwise on that one....
  3. Watching the young players play is the main attraction for this season. Taj has certainly been fun so far!
  4. Baseball is hard and unforgiving... that is why exceedingly few make it to the MLB, but get paid very well when they do. Ober knows better than us that he should and will be judged only on his results.
  5. If there is a true reemergence of Royce F-ing Lewis! that would be a very big deal indeed for this season. Fingers crossed.....
  6. The Twins will not pay for that which is why he needs to be traded by the deadline for max value... unfortunately...
  7. It doesn't really matter if the logs are jammed or not... the problem is that they are all comprised of rotten wood...
  8. Crazy to think that people in the Twins organization are getting paid a crap ton of money to make such obviously atrocious decisions...
  9. Can the 2026 Twins Avoid Being a Disaster Defensively? I fixed the question for you Nick :)
  10. "Two bench players you would never want to actually use" Step 2 of the Pohlad 'we are prioritizing being competitive this year' strategy!
  11. "closer by committee because of no obvious option' Step 1 of the Pohlad 'we are prioritizing being competitive this year' strategy!
  12. But...but... but.... if we DFA'ed him.... we.... we... might lose him! Ha!
  13. So.....so.... loooong. 1. Let the kids play 2. Whenever things are particularly bad... remind yourselves that the New Pohlad told us that they were prioritizing being competitive this year. That will make you chuckle to yourself, I promise!
  14. If so, this bullpen is going to be even worse than I thought... didn't think that was possible
  15. I'm excited to see the Kids Play this year to include but not limited to Abel Hopefully 2026 can be like the early to mid 1980s where a youth movement has the opportunity to begin the process of gelling into a contender over a couple years.
  16. "Minnesota must decide between a veteran former All-Star and a glove-first utility option." I'd say it is more like: 'Minnesota must decide between two fringe MLB players, neither of which would ever make a MLB team that was a serious contender"
  17. Right decisions but Good Lord this roster construction is horrible.
  18. Let's just hope it does not evolve into 'Bilateral Twins Syndrome'!
  19. Hopefully he moves horizontally to the bench with Culpepper taking over at SS by the end of the season
  20. This write up illustrates once again that the Twins' roster construction is atrocious. Trade Larnach already. Let the kids play ASAP
  21. Free Buck... Makes sense for him and the Twins to trade him at the deadline to a contender. I would love to see him playing for a championship contender and the Twins with more talented youth that better approximate the timelines for our next 'competitive window.' Given how unpopular this opinion is likely to be, time to ....
