    Reminds me of Joe Ryan giving up 10 runs in San Diego last year, hung out to dry for the sake of trying to eat innings. I don't totally disagree with it, but I wonder how pitchers feel about it

    I enjoyed this piece. My hope for this Falvey Rocco regime regarding analytics was some innovation and implementation of new or different analytics, rather than chasing something Tampa figured out a few years ago. And I don't know what I don't know of course so they probably are. Less Bundy and Archer will help in the long run as far as 3rd time through the order so let's see how 2023 shakes out.

    If things are going right then Gordon might be expendable in a mid-season trade for some bullpen help. Too many health questions to outfielders at this point

    It should probably be fine if it's front loaded. 40 per for 5 years, 20 per on the last 4, roughly.

    I thought the Royce Lewis experience last season was the most exciting Twins baseball since bomba ball. Figure out how to get and keep that young man healthy and build around him.

    Twins were 20th in attendance and I expect season ticket interest to be down as inflation lingers. Hard to imagine any big contracts being handed out by this team.

    Surely if all teams got mono, the Twins would not only get mono but take way longer to recover, and require scheduled off days in the 2023 season for all 26 players which just happen to fall on the same day, where fans will pay 16 dollars per beer to watch Jake Cave and the Saints play at Target Field.

    I expect Boras to use the Twins as leverage against the field.

    A more rigid lineup. Injuries aside, it still felt like a different lineup every game. Players through the years have reiterated that as important.

    Completely agree - read the room. 'Gosh Minnesota is nice the people are friendly we had a challenging year I've got the best agent on the planet I hope to heck we can work something out. If not I understand baseball is a business....'
