  1. FO can be blamed for roster and the plan ,,, I like the logic on luck being a preparation ,,, Ownership doing anything to step in I don't know , has media done any interviews with JP lately to know his thoughts on 2022 ...
  2. The good , FIRST HALF .. the bad , SECOND HALF ... the ugly , GAME FUNDELMENTALS ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it ...
  3. Went to the game last night and noticed Correa got thrown out twice at first base ,,, Seemed like he wasn't running at full speed , he might of injured his ankle or a leg problem the other day in the game after all ... I thought he should of beat tge throws both times if running at full speed ... Has anything been mentioned that he tweaked something ???
  4. He is an ex twin , how can he stay healthy and keep on playing ... Must be taking lessons from the energizer bunny ...
  5. It's pretty sad now that we have only 2 players that are hitting in September , Gordon and the rested Correa ... It was a winnable game had they hit it were they ain't ... It was a winnable game and Rocco brought in pagan who did manage for once to keep the score the same ... It's tough to watch the twins and the plan ... looking forward to watching the better teams in the playoffs play better fundamentally baseball ...
  6. He was productive in the outfield , hit 28 homeruns but no doubles or RBI's ... I have to commend him for playing all those games injured , it did disrupt his hitting most definitely ...
  7. It's definitely looking like baseball is definitely a business and not a game ,,, Sanchez has done good and pagan has not but since pagan has control the FO thinks it can turn him around nrxt year and trying awful hard not to eat crow on that trade , pagan has now had 4 awful seasons since his best one , can't figure out why pagan wasn't dfa'd cause all he is is another Ron Davis , good stuff but gets hit hard ...
  8. arraez , though he is playing injured and that is easy to tell , base running , hitting , he is grimacing when he swings , left hamstring and maybe knees too have led to his downfall but he is still out there playing and giving it all he's got while injured ... Arreaz still gave us plenty of exciting baseball before the allstar break , also I have seen lots of players in the years that go to allstar game and then have poorer numbers in second half , why is that , pressure , injuries , homerun derby really messes up a hitters swing ...
  9. Congratulations to varland as pitcher of the year and Wallner as hitter of the year for the minor leagues ... Would love for these fellow minnesotans to lead this twins team to a world series .... Go twins and go varland and wallner , your time has come , take it and work hard ...
  10. Congratulations to Wallner for minor leagues hitter of the year ... If STEER or CES hadn't been traded I don't think it would have been unanimous ....
  11. The players have talent to get to the show and once there it is the responsibility of the manager and coaches to tap into that talent and make them a better talent . I just don't see that happening ... I also don't understand why the minor leaguers are not taught the fundamentals of the game before they get to the show , it's an embarrassment on the coaching there as well ... But in falvey's words we have hired the top professionals in the industry at every level and position in the system , what a crock ...
  12. Ditto
  13. If your talking about Trevor May he did start his big league Career as a starter , maybe a handful then tjs and came back as a reliever ...
  14. Most upsetting development of the farm system was trading away the prospects at the deadline for mediocrity and injured pitchers ...
  15. Another dull game but did enjoy all the camera shots on the dogs
  16. I have noticed that too , they let Rosario go and left field has been a revolving door since , they traded Rogers and got nothing to help this year to replace him , traded pressley and now after years in the minors have have some return , same thing with Escobar , I'm sure there are more , Berrios trade we are still waiting for the return replacing him ...
  17. The plan is the problem through the entire system , and who is in charge of the system ,,, Need I say more , falvey hired all top professionals to replace every top position from Ryan's regime , his words not mine .... And Wes Johnson left during the middle of the season which I thought was lame but might say something of the plan he didn't like ,,, He should have finished out the season in my opinion ...
  18. I'm still sticking with my prediction of a month ago that sonny gray will demand a trade this off season ... I would not play for this manager and the plan ...
  19. I would invest in rodon as he is a needed left handed starter the rotation needs , did he land on the IL list this year with San Francisco ???
  20. As I stated last week ... The defining moment in this season and last season is Rocco and his coaches heads are not on the game , if the managers and coaches heads are not on the game , how do you expect the players to have their heads in the game ... Last year and this year two mound visits in the same inning and had to remove pitcher when they had no intentions to remove but lost count or weren't paying attention ...
  21. Do you think he can reach his ceiling ??? I hope so but I'll have a better answer after a 3 year evaluation or maybe less ... Remember rooker and the types , sano took half a season to hit his ceiling every year more or less ... The ball does jump off the bat when he barrels it up so I hope he is better than Gallo , the arm is amazingly strong ... great he Is getting the opportunity because of injuries and hope he finishes the season strong , he has to work on his defense cause we have been spoiled by kepler's defense ...
  22. I'm a risk taker , but I would not invest in damaged goods .... They did show the fans some aggressiveness at the deadline with pitching acquisitions to compete for the division but not enough to contend in the playoffs ... 2 of the players acquired are not rent a player which to me was a shrewd move , let's hope they have a better 2023 season .... 2022 was better than expected ...
  23. Can someone help ??? I'm taking a friend that is handicapped to the game on Friday and I want to go early ... What time do the gates open at target field ??? Thanks in advance ...
