    The pohlads should have had higher payrolls when they were more profitable and they wouldn't have lost so many fans in the stands ... Now they are losing money says Forbes and now have a high payroll to try and gain the fans back with a better product ,,, This really should have happened when target field opened or shortly after , after all the revenue they earned from the new stadium we should have had a better product years ago .... If Forbes is right ....

    Ted mention Moran is fighting for a roster spotcto go north ... Why is he fighting for a job on the 26 man roster , yes he walks a few to many but he van get the job done ... The best players should go north with the club ... Pagan should be fighting for a roster spot on the 26 man roster ...

    Spring training early may not mean a whole lot but eventually it will mean something ... Bring the best and proven players north that have earned it , don't place someone in AAA just because he has options so we can keep someone else that didn't earn it because they are out of options ... It's early , so all is calm ...

    If Lee proves himself in minors and gets a call up to the majors this year .... I'd he hits and gets on base it will take the sting out of trading arraez ... The twins need productive hitters and Lee appears to be one , Julien another and Lewis too , let the boys play ... We need some exciting twin baseball and when these players start playing and producing together I think things are going to be exciting and positive ...

    Not a fan of the extra inning rule , it is not really earning the win ... It's been in place since 2020 and it still is taking time to get used to it ... The games of yesteryear were the greatest , baseball has gotten boring recently ... Hope our manager can find a better way to play extra innings with strategy ...

    No real surprise that they are looking for pitching on tge cheap side again , maybe 1 of Santana or hoffman makes the roster out of spring training .... Or they are both dfa'd and pass through waviers and then are depth at AAA .... Where is the confidence in our prospects , there going to be old man before they get an opportunity ...

    Sabato will be eligible for rule 5 draft after this season so it's make or break for him ... Blaze is on 40 man roster and it is also make or break for him ... Cavaco is still young and needs to show he can make contact and hit , big money results in a big head , I remember his interview , ( said he would make the twins team in 4 years ) . He needs to get his head right or he will fail ... We always pick on the first round choices or prospects that climb our top 30 prospect list and then fail , turn us into believers of them and then they disappoint us ...

    If the brain trust believes to start Polanco off slowly because he's not fully healthy in the legs he will be a primary dh as he is a switch hitter ... That would be my plan if Polanco isn't quite 100 percent ... Otherwise it will be a committee of players ... Let's hope Buxton can play the field and just be a centerfielder ...

    I'd agree after reading the article that scenes would be a super pick , maybe a 2 way player * wishful thinking ) ... Wilson as a position player looks very good and his father coached him , sounds similar to last year's pick ...

    I agree totally that it wasn't a good pick in 2020 and it would be nice if he can salvage his career and recoup something for him ... So far he hasn't been mentioned in any trades we have made so it looks like he is more valuable to twins organization ... Let's hope he puts a solid season together this year ...

    Sabato is one of the biggest bust so far in his career , if anyone should go to driveline baseball it should be Sabato and the twins should pay for it ... Known for his bat and no defense , his bat has been stagnant since he started pro ball , can't believe we have to put him on the 40 man roster after this year or expose him to the rule 5 draft ... Only three seasons to evaluate his talents after the 2023 season ... Man does time fly ...

    Will Polanco be on the twins roster in 2024 ... Go ask Correa as he is part of the plan in who stays and who goes ... I like Polanco and always have , a switch hitter is a plus , if your going to replace him apples to apples then brook Lee is the one to take away Polanco's job , Julien isn't a solid defender , Lewis has a strong arm for third , Martin is most likely destined for the outfield ... Polanco will have a solid season in 2023 if his health remains ...

    It's good to see some players are aware and serious that they need to fine tune there repertoire and get advice from other professionals ( other than our coaching ) that might impact their game ...

    A good list , don't know enough about Salas to determine a concensus ... Plus I'm getting pretty tired of hearing how good our prospects are from the FO and then don't get to see them play in MLB even when they might be ready to show they are ready ... We have them at depth , give some playing time to the prospect and let them get acclimated to the bigs and the faster pace ...

    Without reading the article I went right to my first thought from the title ... Marco Raya would be my choice if he stays healthy , that's always the equation , HEALTH ... I'll go read the article now ...

    Get inside of falvey and lavines head and you should be able to figure out what they are doing ... I sure wish they would give the prospects more playing time , it used to be the twins way years ago ,,, We either won or lost with our prospects ... If the FO doesn't have faith in the prospects abilities I wish they would just keep their mouth shut and quit telling us how good they think they are ...

    Thanks , run value is another stat I was unaware of , I'll try and watch the game and compare my eyes with what you have written ... Location and pitch selection are always important , nibbling is not ( Gibson was a nibbler and so are pagan and a few others ) .... Go get em Mano o Mano ...

    It's every fans dream in the spring that we are destined for a world series ... On paper we are much improved , lots of new faces since last year's deadline and throughout the off season ... Got to go out and play with a killer instinct if buxtons dream is to be fulfilled ... Go twins ...

    I concur on that theory , Ober as a starter and see if he can stay healthy as a starter for 2023 and then pencil him in for 2024 if he's effective ... Maeda may not like it but he has excelled from the pen ... So to compromise they should piggyback so maeda can work towards his bonuses and Ober can get more innings than 1 every other day ...

    Hope the twins fans get the hope they are wishing for ... Even half of them stay healthy would be a plus over last year ... My concern is mahle on injuries and Lopez to have a reset with the twins * maybe the trade rattled him in the second half because he wasn'texpecting it , who reallyknows but well find out early in the season , we gave up alot for these two and they need to produce for the twins ...

    He's under team control and most likely won't walk away from it , twins can place him anywhere they like ... If he is pitching well he deserves another shot but it might not be this year as a starting pitcher unless there is an abundance of injuries , could possibly see some relief in 2023 in the MLB ...
