    Would have been nice to win the final game against Boston and continue a winning streak ,,, in their last 10 games they have played 500 ball ... 1 1/2 games out of a tie with Cleveland for the central division ... The twins need to play better than 500 ball to distance themselves from the other contenders to win division ... A 10 game winning streak would be nice , 5 game winning streak is not enough ... Start a new one and we'll see you in the playoffs ...

    Miranda is good and maybe the best rookie the younger fans have seen ,but us older fans have seen alot of rookies have better season's ... TONY O tops my list ...     I've been waiting for a 10 game winning streak for quite a long time ... 5 wins in a row , 5 more to go and that should get us back in first place .... If we're contenders we need that 10 game winning streak .... NO QUARTER , NO MINNESOTA NICE , just go out there with a winning attitude and play hard ...

    As for 2019 , players had career years and Rocco's job was easy , Rocco managed a disasterest 2019 playoff ,,, 2020 he still had some decent hitters but had to manage , again he was a disaster in the playoffs ... 2021 he was a complete failure on managing every aspect of the game but second half got alittle better but really no competitive baseball ... 2022 he has demonstrated to the fans he just doesn't care if the fans favor him or not and will not deviate from the plan ... The plan, the plan, the plan ... smiles everyone .... I will not cut him any slack on his style of managing . some players will leave by trade or free agency this off season and I wouldn't be surprised of negative comments from them ... There might be one player that demands a trade after the season too ...

    I say get rid of the manager and save some money for the bullpen and let the players manage and play the game .... Seriously : the FO and manager have their own plan , they don't even come close to moneyball teams of Oakland and Tampa ,,, Those two teams know when to trade their players with top value for prospects of top value that keep there window of competition open ... I'll say this again again , if Rocco stays he needs to implement new school with old school to be a more successful manager ..

    Urshela comes up clutch.... course you have to realize ursela was not a homegrown player , he was a Indian and yankee before the trade to Twins , he was not coached by falvys top professionals so his approach at the plate is different .. I rest my case on our top professionals hired by our top professional FO to develop our young players for situational hitting , covering the plate with a 2 strike count with runners in scoring position , garlick let a close pitch go by for strike 3 standing , and players not rrunning out everything ... kepler is a mess , he stood at home on a fair ball in front of the plate , just stood there and didn't run , UNACCEPTABLE and should be benched for not playing hard .... We got a good win because of Urshela and he has been consistent , I like Urshela of all the positional players we got in trades ...

    I concur that he is not competent nor capable to lead us to the playoffs and win with his methods ,,,, Might have to wait awhile for the changing of the guards as the owners have been loyal in the past ... managers and coaches and of course our FO are drawing salary . If we performed our jobs with mistakes , we would be fired ... All their mishaps and they still have their jobs and that is where I find the humor .... I personally think the players might be alittle frustrated with Rocco and FO and their baseball methods , something is diminishing their talent , drive to win ... Remember San Diego quit on their manager last year....

    In 2021 , in first half it seemed the twins didn't have any luck with the way the ball bounced ... 2022 it seemed like the twins were having luck with the way the ball bounced . , second half is alittle different , new York overturns a call at the plate in Toronto , Rocco's head and the coaches are not on the game as he sends pitching coach to talk to Sanchez and it ends up being the second visit and pitcher removed ( these are just a couple of recent examples of what seems like our luck has run out ) there has been more in the second half than the first half ( first half we got the ball to bounce in our favor ) ...

    Alittle extreme but I agree with the concept , the only performers on the team are the younger players Arraez , Miranda and Gordon because they want to stay in the major leagues and have something to prove , arraez has been in the league and has proved he should get a contract extension , So bringing up some prospects for a taste of the big is a good idea at this point ,,,. Something to get excited about to finish the season ...

    Just alittle to late and just alittle short on runs, at least we avoided a shutout with runs in the ninth ... A big blunder again for the second year in arow from the entire coaching staff for not having their heads in the game on the mound visits , as odd as it was it was still a blunder ... if the coaches don't have their heads on the game , how do you expect the players to ... I rest my case ...

    I also have to agree with mikelink45 ,,, we beat ourselves ... They can't seem to get on the same page , pitching solid 1 game , hitting stagnant , hitting scores more than 3 runs and pitching flops ...

    The triple play was exciting , The Pitching was solid for ... The situational hitting wasn't good ... Buxtons injuries aren't good... That's how realistic positive I can, be ...

    Nice article and I couldn't agree more that the leadership is lacking ,,, Last year when the twins were losing badly Falvey was never seen in an interview until the media called him out on it ,,, he never owned up to the responsibility of the twins play and let levine get the camera time with the media during the losing times in 2021 ... Now when the twins started winning in second half of 2021 and played better ball Falvey was back in the camera light , proud to be a representative of the twins, levine was never again interviewed ... Leadership does seem to be lacking along with their communications skills on eluding us ( the fans ) of their plan .... The plan , the plan , the plan .... Smiles everyone .... I noticed it hasn't gotten much better this year ....

    WHERE'S THE BENCH ??? Did anyone notice we had 3 pinch hitters and all 3 struck out ,,, pathetic that 1 pinch hitter couldn't put the ball in play ....

    I'm not totally sure about this but it appears that the players may not like the style of baseball that Rocco plays and their enthusiasm is waning ( no spark in line up sucks , how many times have we been shutout ) ... I know I would not like playing for Rocco ...

    The first half or up to deadline of 2021 the twins were constantly blown out , they were not competitive games , they did start to play better the final 2 months that probably inflated the winning percentage ... In my eyes 2021 was the worst twins season of ball I have ever witnessed , even worse than the season we lost 103 games , there were alot of competitive games we lost that year .....

    A blowout of 10 runs or more would be great ... A 10 game winning streak would be better ... Management hasn't shown me any indication that they have learned their lessons ... Thanks for your thoughts , This is my story and I'm sticking too it ...

    It was a competitive win between the teams ... Some have said that the royals are a AAAA team , if so then that is what the twins are because they are the only teams the twins can beat .... Let's hope kepler gets on a streak and starts hitting ....

    The suspense in winning is exciting .... The obvious in losing is not ... Throws hard but gets hit hard ,,, Time for him to go , he reminds me of Ron Davis ...
