    Where is the respect for the arreaz ( I nicknamed him major leaguer in his first season ) , It usually takes 3 seasons to evaluate what kind of player they are going to be ,,,,, I saw what kind of player he was in his first year ( bats like gwynn and hits like carew ) , he is a outstanding hitter even if he is considered a singles hitters ... He adapts where played even if some think his defense is a liability , firstbase he has filled in admirably , can play 2nd or 3rd , outfield is maybe a stretch but he'll play were he is told ... Major leaguer ( arreaz ) is a possible allstar this year ,,,, he ignites the top of the order getting things started and continues throughout the game ,,, he's contending for a batting title through the first third of the season ... Love watching this player play the game he so much loves .... Maybe he should be the hitting coach and draw 2 pay checks ... Yes there are others I like on the team as well but he is our spark plug ...

    Fear the steer is off to a okay start at AAA ,,, he's always hit at every level so I expect it just takes some adjusting to the new league and he will start raking again .... Love to follow the minor league updates and see the prospects doing well ..... I also agree with other posts that we have a logjam at positions and need to trade somebody for better pitching or lose them in the rule 5 .....

    I've read all the post by members ... Yes we need upgrades in bullpens and let starters go longer in their starts if on their game of course ... What I want to mention to the twins fans is ... BASEBALL IS A BUSINESS , the love of Money is more important to them than being competitive in the playoffs ( ALL AT THE EXPENSE OF THE TWINS FANS , do they really care about us ) ,,,, Management is getting everything they want during the season so far with competitive baseball and they are hopeful that this competitive baseball once summer arrives will draw the fans to stadium ... DOUBLEHEADER about to start , I got to go

    I'm tired of hearing the excuses , covid , short spring training ,,, That's the past and we're 50 games into this season .... Play the game the way it should be played ,,,, HIT , RUN AND THROW ....

    The plan , the plan , the plan ... Smiles everyone .... Every game is different and adjustments and decisions should always be changing from inning to inning .... the FO and Rocco's plan is not managing the game ,,, continuous change in batting orders are ridiculous .... the plan is totally ridiculous , their comments to the fans are unbelievable and BS .... Correct me if I'm wrong

    Just another one of Rocco's mismanaged games ,,, leaving in duffey ,,, duffey couldn't locate any pitches on the corners , either out of the zone or right in the hitters sweet spot , didn't throw many fastballs , mostly curves and sliders .... The offense didn't help much with bases loaded and no outs ,,,

    The computer is not smarter than a fifth grader .... I don't see mauer going in on first ballot but he eventually will be voted in .... When ? , I won't speculate because he wasn't a east or west coast player ,,, they get the recognition

    Arreaz the major leaguer , I said it his first season he arrived and I usually wait 3 years to evaluate a players talent ,,, he bats like gwynn and hits like carew ... Yes his defense is average but he gets on base ... his firstbase defense has been good and above average ... We need hitters that have a plan to get on base and arreaz has a plan every time he is batting , maybe he doesn't hit lefties as well but with his good eyes he can draw walks ....

    A really good detailed report .... After 100 games in AA steer get the call to AAA to hopefully spark some life into the saints ... Steer was my choice to have a break out season in an article earlier ... Here's to his continuation of success ...

    At the beginning of the minor league season a writer posted a blog of who do you think would have a breakout season .... My reply was Steer , he had a good season last year but this year so far he has been bashing the ball with doubles and homers and hitting over 300 ,,,, if he continues he should be on pace to be promoted by the end of June to ST Paul ....

    Smeltzer in my opinion has been a better starter than relief pitcher ... His mental preparation for starting is alot different than his bullpen outings .... He sees himself as a starter and has pitched some good games in the past and it's always nice to have a lefthander in the rotation .... Cotton was dfa'd the other day and again passed through waivers and back in AAA ... twice now ,,, Does anyone know what happened to thorpe after the twins released him ????? .

    I'm not advocating for a trade but I think Mahle or Castillo would have better moral and pitch better on a winning team , no price please , Frankie montas is keeping his stock high ..... There are not many aces , studs or bulldogs out there anymore that pitch alot of innings and face the lineup 3 times or more , that would be my choice if we are to contend in October

    Go twins , I agree we don't have a team built for October but will win enough games during the season to draw fan's to the stadium .... That is their plan ( FO and OWNERS )

    The dobnak and odorizzi was a statement of sending a rookie out there in front of the worst hecklers of a visiting team , Experience still would have been my choice with odorizzi but they claimed odorizzi had a winning record at target field and he did pitch fairly well .... but we went 3 and out . 1 bunt , hurray ,, How about stealing bases , hit and run , situational hitting with runners on base ,,, or 2 strikes and batters making adjustments ,,,, see arreaz for adjustments , bats like gwynn and hits like carew , love that major leaguer Catchers aren't as good as they once were at throwing out base stealers , when we have trouble scoring runs , steal bases and get runners in scoring position I love the homerun that is a game changer but not the solo homers that almost never won the game ... A complete 180 degree change in the way baseball is played sucks , but I'm still a follower of the twins and of all baseball teams .. i live for opening day and the world series and everything in between ... You don't have to be a follower to be successful and stop executing the way baseball was intended to be played ,,, Watch other teams manager's manage in game decisions and strategy ,,, this was a discussion of our manager

    Was he deserving of the manager of the year in 2019 ,, Between Rocco, cash and boone .... Boone's yankees had extensive injuries to their core players and found great depth to win 103 games ... deserving Cash had the worst stadium to play in and one of the lowest payrolls and great coaching abilities to be creative in using his players to win 96 games .... deserving .... Rocco's first year as manager and the team performs ,,, BUT most players performed and had career years .... undeserving because he had no experience prior to 2019 to evaluate his tendencies toward coaching , then we saw his real coaching abilities in the playoffs in 2019 and 2020 ,,, he coaches the same as in season as he does in playoffs and you just can't do that with the better playoff team .... Dobnak pitching in front of a bunch of Yankee hecklers instead of odorizzi did not make sense and that's not just on Rocco but his FO that he has to follow their plan ... This is my opinion , eye and hearing test , FO and Rocco cannot manage the team , I don't believe the BS from any of the 3 ,,, they'd make better politicians for all the errors of there ways .... Baseball was a great game and it's losing its popularity because of the new game of analytics ,,, Why can't we have both in the game , old and new school baseball

    Arreaz will be the first basemen when facing right handed pitching and he had been fine so far To let him play there so his bat is in the lineup ,,, miranda will platoon against the lefyhanders and if he doesn't get going with the bat might be the next player demoted to AAA .... The short king is a major leaguer and has been since his arrival .... Bats like gwynn and hits like carew ... love the little guy

    Ryan was a class act , he stayed when contractions were being discussed and he could have gone to Toronto who did offer him the same position fir the blue jays .... And he was a good judge of talent , he worked harder than any GM that I know of , he was always scouting the minor league games looking for talent .... Is he still with Philadelphia Phillies , they hired him in 2021 ????

    Yes it is and I like it , shouldn't have put it that way ,,,, his composure got flustered last night with balls and strikes and you can't win many games that way ...
