    With all our injuries again this year and montas shoulder injury in early July , I would not trade for him thinking if he is healthy now before the trade deadline , the shoulder injury would likely reappear right before the playoffs and shut him down ... Winder , I would not trade at all , we developed the kid through our system and I have like everything I have seen of him on the mound , he's to good of a talent to trade and seems like the only bulldog we have , but I guess if his value is high and the twins think his pitching may flounder ,,, than trade him , I so far see a solid arm in winder when healthy .... We need help , we don't have a surplus of pitching at AAA ,,, the twins need to trade what we have a surplus of and that's infielders and a few outfielders .... We aren't going to like what the FO does unless they can trade sano for more than a bucket of balls ...

    Winder is not expendable and I have liked what I have seen over some of the other rookie pitching prospects ... His stuff plays well so far and only looks to get better if he stays healthy ... I like his composure on the mound ... seems like a bulldog ...

    If the twins are interested in montas it is bcause he is injured or could be injured goods .... That's an MO of the FO ...

    And kaat too as the winningest lefthander in twins history .... he would have won a cy young in 1966 but they only gave out 1 cy young total for pitchers ( sandy Koufax won it in 1966 ) and later changed it to 1 per league

    Don't forget mudcat grant ... Not even an honorable mention ... I liked Morris in 1991 but one season on the team , with accolades of a game 7 win in world series , he was a bulldog ...

    Have they really hit it out of the park ??? Most would think that the twins have discussed contract with player drafted on day one before drafting the player ... If the draft of day one is going to be successful they have to get them signed first .... They are 3 good picks to be excited about .... Day two doesn't look all that good with the crap shoot ,,, I too hope the evaluators found some good talent on day two but saving money isn't finding quality players to play at the mlb level .....

    A leader ,,, definitely not the manager .... The team has played sub 500 play for a while now and yes I'd like to see a more enthusiastic team for more exciting games ... The front office thinks we will be a competitive team , I don't think the Twins will be a contender at the end of the season .... FO WILL SIT ON THEIR HANDS and sign mediocre below average arms because they are cheaper .... GO BOLD AND HAVE SOME GUTS AND FIX THIS MESS THEY HAVE PUT US IN , PITCHING ,,, even if we don't win the division , THE LEADERSHIP STARTS WITH THEM , BY ADDING A BETTER EXCITING PRODUCT ON THE FIELD ,,, and that starts with quality pitching ...

    There in hiding and haven't been seen since we have played less than 500 ball since a 27 and 16 start ... THE FRONT OFFICE GOT US INTO THIS MESS , the fans have suffered enough with this bad pitching ,,, GET IT FIXED ... Yesterday's game reminded me of what the twins were last year .... the minnesota possums , play dead at home and get killed on the road ...

    Tech catcher parada would be my choice as well ,,, Maybe not a complete five tool player but could be better in the future with more experience working through the minor and maybe in a couple of years be in the bigs ... this is a position that is needed , It's doubtful he will be available but anything can happen

    Draft a worthy 5 tool athletic player ,,, No more bat first and no defensive home to play ,,, that is not worthy of a first round selection ..... This FO has done that in past drafts and that always makes me nervous

    A great win we needed and on kaat's day .... Another of my childhood hero's honored by the twins ... ( WHAT TOOK SO LONG ) ,,, KITTY KAAT has the most wins in twins history as a lefthanded pitcher ,,, it was a sad day when Calvin let him walk ... Kitty pitched Another 10 years after 15 years with the twins ,,, Calvin thought the arm was toast .... I wish some of you younger twins fans could have seen these earlier hero's ,,, THEY TOOK THE FIELD AND CAME TO PLAY

    I wouldn't sign susac in the first round that high ,,, I think I've seen the yankees are interested in him in first round ,,, just a mock inkling .... A first round pitcher with high ceiling ( ace , stud , bulldog ) would be nice to replace petty who we traded for sonny gray .... I'm not sure there are any of his caliber rated that high but twins may think differently

    Yes , parada is who I have in mind If he drops to eighth in the first round ... susac would be the other choice but maybe not in first round for twins , maybe comp pick.....

    Sano is at AAA ,,, spend the remainder of the month there , Get him hitting and fielding better and trade him to a team that needs a dh before Aug 2nd for a bucket of balls or even a dollar would do it , that is his value .... We are clicking on offense that we don't need him mudding up the offense with strikeouts and no production .... If he goes somewhere else for a change of scenery and attitude adjustment and produces , well good for him ,,, we just don't need another major leaguer named rob deer ,,,

    It was a busy and crazy deadline in 2018 .. .did get some prospects back that are performing at the mlb level ... If the twins FO are smart , they should be thinking smelters value is not going to be any higher as a starter and trade him at the deadline if we acquire Snell or another starter ... Smeltzer has had no success as a relief pitcher as a twin ...

    Pass on Horton .... He's in it for the money , not for love of the game .... Quite obvious with his demands ... and he wasn't considered a first rounder until he dominated the college world series ,,,, Even a blind squirrel can find a acorn once in a while .. To much risk here on him . Still I like a need of catcher for the 8th selection

    Can never have to much starting pitching , but yes the bullpen is the most obvious concern ,,, we need quality arms for bullpen ,,, NO EXCEPTIONS ... Have guts , be bold go for quality FO ....

    I'd take Snell over the Dodgers Price and having Snell back in the American league might be a refreshing change of scenery for him ... His contract is reasonable through 2023 ....

    Has the FO ever led us astray in there comments .... YES ..... quality pitching signings at the deadline have been really sparse for a team that is a contender .... Yes it will take prospects to acquire quality pitching ,,, get the 40 man roster trimmed so we don't lose the prospects in the rule 5 draft like we have seen the front office do multiple times , they either release some at the end of the season or expose them to the rule 5 draft for nothing ... The FO got us into this mess with a terrible bullpen , NOW GET US OUT OF IT ... WITH QUALITY PLEASE...

    Major leaguer ( arrreaz ) is so fun to watch at hitting and at first base .... Great team-mate who will play anywhere if you ask him because he loves this game ... Yes he deserves an extended contract , sign the major leaguer

    If he is available , pay the man ... Catcher and hitter is a position of need ... Best prospect I like so far but don't think he will be available to us as other teams have interest but if he surprisingly drops in our lap ,,, sign the man

    Duffey knows this is his last season with the twins and his buddies ... Duffey has no confidence in himself and you can see it plainly when he is on the mound ..... He is a mop up pitcher at this stage of his career ....
